She was a beautiful little girl, so sad how her life ended so tragically. I hate her mother!!! Why would you kill your own flesh and blood? I mean why? Some people don't deserve to be mothers.

I remember folllowing this story because Karissa didn't live too far from me. As well, I had a friend when we were teenagers who disappeared for 4 months. Her body was found in the woods, murdered. They never caught the killer, but at least Karissa received justice. Her own mother...alligator tears on tv, while my friend's mum was crying for real to bring her daughter home.

The reason why her mother killed her because her mother's had to choose between karissa and the friend of that mother. so she killed her daughter because she couldn't be without her friend (the mother)
