@wiley207 That is exactly right. This intermission was used on a Cartoon Crazys compilation, which touted "enhanced 5.1 sound", meaning adding sound effects. Several other snipes like this one were also given the same treatment.

I've never seen this one before, but based on the music and character design, I'm gonna guess that this was made at Termite Terrace (Warner Bros).

It sounds like the sound effects were eventually added later, years after this was made.

it probably was; the film itself became public domain, but the audio used in it did not. so they had to make their own to distribute it.
