I first heard this beautiful and haunting melody when it was performed at President Reagan's funeral. It reduced me to tears then and still does every time I hear it. I like it so that I have asked that it be performed for my final Requiem Mass. As a retired brother in arms myself it has special meaning. May the souls of our fallen brothers forever rest in peace and may the Light Perpetual shine upon them.
