You know what's funny. I first got this game for the pc when I was 10, and I had a decent joystic as a controller. Somewhere along when my dad set it all up the controlls got messed up so when I played the game my pod racer was by default up on its side. I played the entire game not knowing how to make my pod racer fly normally. and I think I beat it on normal too, which is crazy considering I could barely turn.

Man, you guys really hated Episode 1. I wonder how you felt 3 years later when Episode 2 really stunk it up. Everyone says 1 is the worst in the series, but seriously, it's not even close. Episode 1 was fun to watch for me, and I was hooked the entire time. Episode 2 was just crap. All the action is like at the end, and everything else is like cheesy love lines, and a mindless plot. Christopher Lee can only do so much to save a movie. D=

@brendameistar You can always download n64 emulator and play the game on it or just get it for pc, since it was realeased for it. I doubt it will be easy to get. Maybe try some abandon ware sites or good old games. I don't think lucas arts would aprove that though :P

I still have this game on the N64! Still great even after a decade of gaming evolution. If they ever did a remake I would be very, VERY happy. =) But what's weird is that the N64 version did NOT include cutscenes, and it had only one looping soundtrack for the last lap in each race. But heck, it still brought good memories. Oh, and the zero-g corridor at 5:25 NEVER gets old! Great stuff, great stuff. =D

I rented this game for the N64 a looong time ago, now I play it with an emulator, I must admit that is one of the best racers I've ever played.
