  • If he lived a few years later he could've survived stomach cancer with surgery

  • Thumbs up if your crying right now 9years later... :'(

  • He was such a great man. Truly cared for children. If only everyone had the nice heart he did.

  • Great family member

  • Couple of days after my Papa Robert Died!!!!

  • our linguini spine & political correctness allowed these icons of the american culture to be displaced.

so much in our schools. !!!!! long live great americans like Mr. Rogers!!!!

  • It's terrible that he died of stomach cancer. I wish there was a way to fight stomach cancer.

  • Was that OJ's white bronco at 1:37?

  • This was such a beautiful show. I used to watch Mr Rogers Neighborhood every Saturday. Such classic. I feel sorry for today's kids never get to see Mr. Rogers Neighborhood and with all these great classic PBS shows.

  • When I first about his death I cried and kids at school that I knew were sad.

  • i wish my neighbor was like that

  • RIP Fred

  • Fred Rogers is the fourth person I want to meet in heaven. (After my mom dad & Jesus of course)

  • @megastakemachinegun2 ABSOLUTELY :D

  • I know a man who used to be a statio director for a public tv station. He met Mr. Rogers once. He told me Mr. Rogers was the most authentic person he'd ever seen. He had no media personality. What you see was what you got. Kind, courteous, soft spoken, that was really him. He was our friend.

  • i remember seeing his death o the news. i was to young to understand

  • I'll always remember watching him as a kid. And FUCK YOU ther57!!!

  • When I was a kid I grew up with him everyday I looked forward to watching his show.

  • I think everyone remembers where they were when they first found this out

  • A Saint!A true Saint like John Paul the second! Here don't matter the religion to be a Saint,is important to do your best and be a good neighbour!

  • im srry but did anyone else notice the OJ chase in between news stories

  • i heard that mr mcfeely will be in the new spinoff cartoon from time to time i hope that is true

  • @muppetsstoogesfan1 Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood on June 2012. It's true.

  • @malikishak on the internet it still says late fall

  • On the PBS station where I live (in my neighborhood) they cancelled Mr. Rogers shortly after he passed. My other favorite, Reading Rainbow, no longer shows either, and Sesame Street just isn't the same anymore. Now, they have shows like Curious George which ruined the classic books by Margret and H. A. Rey and Fetch which has much more crude humor than the gentle Mr. Rogers.

  • I always loved that little train that goes around :)

  • @Khaosmoglin lol me too i remeber that

  • thats sad

  • He was a great man!

  • Fuck pee-wee's porn hub. adult swim should air his show.

  • Mr. Rogers was the closest thing to a saint on earth...may he RIP.

  • God times watching that. Man good times. ( when I was like 4 I was always mad cuz he had a sick train) rip

  • I use to watch that show when I was little girl. I'm going to miss that guy.

  • I love you Mr. Rogers... <3

  • I always hoped that if mr rogers ever did died, his death would be painless and comforting. I never wanted to imagine mr rogers to have a painful death, but in my opinion, he is alive in all of us, whether it's by his teachings, his program, or his love.

  • Sorry, he was no military veteran. He was a Presbyterian minister, he studied music at Rollins College here in Winter Park FL, and my old pastor from Epworth United Methodist was a friend of his. He had no tattoos, he never was a sniper, he was a vegetarian, and he really was the sweetest man ever.

  • This makes me cry. Out of happiness, and out of sadness.

  • I warder if Mr Rogers ever talk about Austisum?

  • rip to a fellow vet .....................

  • can we upload episode 1068?

  • In 1972 my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer - I was 7 years old - Mr. Rogers held me close through the tv and carried me in his arms through the rough times - I can never forget his kindness and genuineness - Thank you Fred - I know you have a special place in Heaven...

  • One of the very few men that loved children but didnt want to rape them.

If there was a god i would pray to him for Mr. Rogers.

  • When he died, I was 6 years old and I couldn't watch the news or listen to the radio because I was afraid that they would talk about him again. I remember lying in my bed while listening to the radio and hearing the theme song and it made me happy to hear it. Then all of a sudden, I heard the radio announcer say "Fred Rogers has died" and I immediately hid under the covers because the concept of this man I watched on television everyday being dead really scared me.

  • I used to watch this show every single day before and after daycare, he truly was one of the best men ever to walk this earth, I hope they will never stop airing his message, I loved this show

  • this makes me cry cause he was such an amazing man and i hope when he died he knew how much of an impact he mad on every childs life that watched that show

    :'( <3 mr rogers R.I.P!

  • i don't know why but every time i see his show i feel sad that he's gone but happy as i watch his show

  • No matter how often he received complements he managed to deflect attention away from himself while staying in the moment. When received a Lifetime Achievement Award he took time to ask audience members to take 10 seconds to think of all the people who'd been positive influences in THEIR lives. It moved people to tears. Now THAT is a giving person!

  • weird to think there are people who grow up in this world to hate and murder and terrorize then other people grow up like Mr. Rogers.

  • Been years since his death and I'm still grieving. - _-;

  • Same.

  • I REMEMBER WATCHING HIS SHOWS AS A CHILD MY MOM SAID ID THROW A FIT IF I COULDNT WATCH MISTER ROGER'S NEIGHBORHOOD LOL IM 21 NOW AND I STILL DROP BY TO VISIT MY FAVORITE NEIGHBOR... I LOVE YOU MISTER ROGERS. <3<3<3

  • R.I.P Mr.Rogers

  • I am 24 I remember watching him every morning. He taught mento tie my shoes!

  • i even watched the shows and i`m 58

  • I wonder why they have'nt had a televised memorial service for this wonderful man?.

  • such a inspiring human being to all who saw his tv show. God bless you sir and RIP Fred Rogers :)

  • poor fred rogers:(

  • It's very unfortunate that PBS no longer runs the show. I can understand the idea of "dated" but his message was timeless. I will really miss him.

  • i am 33 and wish id met him. everytime i see him on i stop and watch.

  • this is sad..... i love mr rogers

  • I remembered when he passed away. I had never liked his show as a child but started to get into it in my early teens right before he died. I was in the 6th grade. It was like the world got a little darker without him when I found out he had passed. The world could use him and more people like him. Who knows how much more he could have done would cancer not have taken his life. Miss you Mr. Rogers.

  • R.I.P. Mister Rogers.

  • i wonder how old he would've been if he was alive?.

  • @StefanoFan27 He would be 81 this year.

  • @StefanoFan27: 80+.

  • happy birthday-rip mister rogers

  • rip

  • That poor man. :( May he RIP.

  • It's like a grandpa di.eing or something

  • i really miss mr rogers and i will always miss and remember him may he rest in peace

  • We miss you Mr. Rogers. Did his former Co-Stars from "Mister Rogers Neighborhood", Rose O'Donnel, and the cast from "Sesame Street" go to the Funeral?

  • @GreatAuntCayce, i wonder if they ever show his funeral on tv?.

  • @GreatAuntCayce: Yes, they were all there. He truly was more than just public television's patron saint to children's programming...he was beloved all over as *the* epitome of being a good friend, teacher, and--as he would put it--neighbor.

  • When I was a young child back in the late 60's and early 70's, Mr. Rogers mesmerized me as a young child and I felt completely safe and enlightened as i watched his beautiful presence and show in awe.

  • crazy it doesnt seem that long ago that he died, and the rhode island night club burning down

  • And to think that Fox News, on their "Fox and Friends" program, ran a story which depicted Rogers as evil, instilling an undeserved notion of "self-entitlement" in the youth of America, all but blaming Rogers for single-handedly transforming them into unambitious egomaniacs. I can live with the "gay" and "pedophile" jokes that some people make because the people that make them don't have two wits to rub together, but a calculated attack on his life's work by Fox leaves an especially sour taste.

  • It's a well-known fact that the weak-minded try to belittle great people like Fred Rogers by questioning their morals. Just remember this: in two hundred years, the people who make fun of him or demean his name will be long since dead, but the name Mister Rogers will still be remembered.

  • There's so many little things I remember about this show. The microphone must have been very sensative because I remember the sound of him putting on his tennis shoes and how I loved the sound of him snapping his fingers. the sound of him taking off his sweater. Maybe it was just me... I soooo loved Mr. Rogers. I'm glad my kids got to see a few of his episodes before he died. They watch it now and it's soo funny because they go, "Ooooh it's a new one"

  • He definitly was awesome...I hope to someday meet him in Heaven

Good job on the video :)...come check out my trolley video..download it and upload it with your own special comments :)

  • Mr. Rogers was the greatest man to ever walk this earth.

  • I second that. He was such an awesome person in this world. We need more neighbors and people like him.

  • @Relax298 Yes he was Amen to that

  • @Relax298

    agreed amigo

  • What does everyone think of these memorials?

  • it was so touching. :( He was totally my childhood. I watched him everytime I feel depressed. I had a great grandpa who has feelings like him so I go to him when I have troubles, but he passed away 13 years ago.

  • @fwbh You could spend 3 months straight talking about all the fantastic things Fred Rodgers was and did, and you'll never scratch the surface of what he truly was... And Shame on FOX. SHAME ON FOX. For even DARING to say he was a bad thing for children... What a horrible afront to the saint Mr. Rogers truly was.

  • I really want these tributes to generate a lot of replies. These were made on the exact day he died. It was a very sad day. There are alot of clips to remember this wonderful man. What does everyone else think about how these came out?

  • @fwbh ,

I'm 50 and remember the first time I saw his show.

Just an awesome & gifted man.

RIP, sir- you WILL be missed.....
