Being that the title says "amateur", I was expecting something hideous and malformed.

What I see isn't half bad at all. Although this is only the steps and not the actual palace, I find it to be quite enjoyable.

Not bad at all! Especially if it's an early attempt..I am still learning myself but my love for pastel is growing and I love seeing what other artists are doing! Absorb everything you can from those that are better than you and you'll progress. NICE WORK!
