So happy to be a zoologist in this lovely land. The man who taught me vertebrate zoology and instilled in me a passion for it was actually an American (PhD Stanford) who moved here because of the extraordinary wildlife.
made short work of that scorpion, but they get fucked up by those huge King brown snakes, and parenties.i dont think they come in in contact with the inland taipan at all.
how the heck did they put a video camera in a scorpion's underground homemade cave and managed to also film, from the outside, the lizard going into it. what the hell do they have camera's everywhere??
i'll never go to australia...at least not in the desert.i think it's a very brave act that someone choose to leave in a village than leaving in the city because it's well known that a lot of animals and reptiles most of them poinonous get in to your house or in your yard....anyway it is scary
@aurelia200010 Australia is one of the SAFEST countries in terms of animal attacks on the planet... Like 10 people die of venomous bites/stings per year... Thats minuscule compared to say India with 10,000 deaths due to snakebite per year.
@yobro250 True main reason is we dont have the overpopulation of most other countries. Even animals that would barely notch up a kill a year here like bull sharks kill heaps of people in india. If Australia was plagued with humans there would be far more deaths. Im not 100% sure but after humans and mozzies i think horses kill the more people than other animals.
@panoptes1 Yeah true but its also because australian animals arent anywhere near as dangerous as people claim...The claim that they have the most venomous animals is ridiculous...At thew very LEAST Asia is tied with Australia and in reality Asia likely has alot more venomous animals
what i don't understand is... how doi they know to get out? how to they know so much!? I know it's instinct but... i don't understand how our memory can be passed onto our children....
when i was young my dad told me he take me to the outback an leave me there, if i didnt behave lucky for me he didnt because the outback at night is no place for someone like me.because by daybreak you will probably be dead.
thumbs up for bearded dragons

Surely they mean venomous not poisonous. You would have to ingest it yourself for it to be poisonous.

gmonka04 1 year ago
@gmonka04 they usually have a camera underground but i'm not absolutely sure.
Tazz676 1 year ago
@gmonka04 I personally think it was alittle staged, just my opinion I recone the placed the camera than the scorp. in there. Probably wrong.
