  • That's really nice; we see so many large-scale railways simply up on posts and beams or other artificial structures that this is a nice change. What is the prototype? It reminds of Isle of Mann engines I saw decades ago.

  • Hi - It is very similar to the Isle of Man locos - just a few detail differences. It ran on the 3 foot gauge lines in County Antrim in Ireland, and was built for the Ballymena and Larne Railway.

    Sadly the model is in bits after the boilers sprung a leak. It is repaired now but needs repainting..
