  • peace did not came????

  • 2:37

That's kinda drpressing since you play as a ninja

  • i saw this arcade for $650 at a flea market

  • Best music of any video game right here! Love this fucking game.

  • immortal murder machines - I'll take band names for 1000 Alex

  • Engrish: You gotta love it.

  • How to cheat? I see they cant hurt it.

  • Down with Kadafi lol

  • The bigger they are, the easier it is to groin-hit them. :D

  • so is this a bad ending?

  • This is the first video game I've ever seen that's in MPAA aperture.

  • lmfao!!! @ Revorution

  • Of course, they are immortal murder machines! That explains everything.

  • A revoruation broke out. And everything became to an end! But peace did not came!

  • Soo that why they walked like something was stuck up their butts :p

  • love the japanese subtitles... "Revorution" lol

  • revorution...

  • i thought this game was tougher as shit!

  • The voice in the ending sounds like the cheesy sidekick in Chase HQ. I'll bet it was the same guy.

  • You say you want a revorution? Well, y' know...

  • The translator was Scooby-doo!

  • Everybody run! A Revorution is breaking out!

  • lol

  • hahahhahahaa !!!!! Revorution !!!

  • This game could use a contemporary update and/or upgrade. Wouldn't mind seeing the original on Xbox live arcade though.

  • Seems like a waste of a perfectly good robotic ninja.... btw, gotta love the corny reading at the end

  • The ending to this game seems more depressing than its Super NES remake.

  • "A revorution broke out, and everything became to an end." Ah, good old Engrish. Of course, nothing beats "Welcome to Die," or "I feel asleep!"

  • OK. Write some Hiragana then, you f'n SMARTASS!

  • Its ten times worse when americans leave comments that read like this on youtube. And english is the only language they know.

  • This game was exactly like the Ninja movies of the 80's

  • The grammar shown in the text at the end was, well funny, because of how bad it got in certain places, LOL!

Who knew Bangler was such a wussy coward!

Was the player using some sort of cheat code? Because he/she seemed to be taking absolutely no damage from the onslaught of enemies, including the 'KILL YOU' boss.

  • The SNES version rocks much more though :).

  • if SNES version could use 3 displays, of course...

  • I used to play The Ninja Warriors at Galaxy Lanes in Thunder Bay, Ontario when I was like 10 yrs old and it used to cost 50 cents and I would always get killed by that damn tank lol anyways thanx 4 posting this

  • "I KILL YOU!"

  • Hey, nice video,I remember that

  • Music in that first and last stage is just awesome.

  • No Doubt when I first seen this vid I went back to being 10 years old again lol yea really cool music

  • Banglar was a puss in this game

  • ....George Takei?

  • "But the peace did not Came." hoah! engrish!

  • 'A revorution broke out' lol.

  • yeh i have it on mame, but ill never forget it in the arcade,it was huge,3 monitor screens and a mirror to make it seamless lol, there were 2 other games i know of that used this type of machine,Rastan 3 and Darius ..classics !!

  • ヘタクソ

  • I've always loved this game in the arcades. It's Ninja Gaiden meets The Terminator. I now have it on MAME Rom.

  • used to love the music on this when i was a kid

  • Hey is it me or does the epiloge narrator sound like George Takei from star trck?

  • Back in 89 when I was 12 my friend and I set up a tape recorder beside this arcade machine on O'connell Street (Funderland) to record the sound track. We got it but we're barred from the Arcade forever. We didn't care - the place was a kip. Great track though!

  • I have the original arcade track on mp3 as well as the original composer playing it live in orchestra at "Video Games Live". Send me your email and I'll send it to you.

  • "The soundtrack is notable for the track "Daddy Mulk" by Taito's in-house band Zuntata which is played during the first (and last) level. Interestingly, the catchy but ghoulish melody was sampled by Aussie rock band of limited success, Lucius Hunt in the track This Haunting (2006)."

One of the best arcade game songs ever written, IMHO.

  • THAT LOOKS SOOOOOOOO EASY

  • Wicked! :-)

  • "revorution" this game is japanese and they pronounce the "L" like "R", example: "laura" pronounced in japanese would be "Raura". I think that was the reason of the mistake (i said i think :p )

  • the koto-solo at around 1:20+ is one of my fav game music, great play!

  • REVORUTION !!!

  • A boss does not need the sympathy. However, thank you for a splendid play.

  • Yeah. . .Thanks for that Hardcastle.

Anyway, didn't this game seem exceedingly violent for its time. You can see his throat get lacerated and he bleeds from the neck.

No standards and practices during this time I see--YES!!! Reminds me of the final parts of Bionic Commando.

  • I played this to the end a few years ago but didn't think much about it. now i wonder why when the ninjas got into the mansion, why didn't they just blow them up right then and there and take them all out instead of you having to go all the way to the last guy.

  • Maybe they wanted to make sure Banglar was dead, and they would destroy much more, because they called in loads to take down the ninja, then he killed them all... then he blew it up too... Your right it does seem a bit odd.

  • WOW Voice clips from an Old 80's and Swears too i played the sequal for the SNES.

  • Ha ha ha ha!!! The Evil Bastard in Blue got OWNED!!!!

    (Great Ending for Ninja Warriors!)

  • *spoiler alert*

strangely enough, Banglar survives and ends up doing trying to take over the world again in the 1990 game "Aqua Jack" and in "The Ninja Warriors Again".

  • "Again" is a remake.

  • so NWA doesn't count since it's a remake?

  • I don't know about the rap group, but storyline-wise "The Ninja Warriors" and "The Ninja Warriors Again" are the same thing. Again is a re-telling.

  • lol, that's what i was talking about: ninja warriors again, not the group who pissed of the FBI with their anti-police theme.
