  • I just got one of these on sale for only US$125 (after coupon) from Staples.com last week. It's huge, but it still fits on my existing printer cart (thank goodness it tapers outward slightly from bottom to top; otherwise, the dimensions listed on the manufacturer's website wouldn't have fit at all), and it can use the same ink cartridges (LC61) that I'd already purchased for my DCP-J125. I am so looking forward to scanning at 11"x17"/A3!

  • So are the ink cartridges refils economical? I have been caught out in the past with that! No good having an good deal on your printer if you can't afford to keep replacing with expensive ink cartridges :-(

I need a good budget A3 printer with cheap running costs.

I want to use it for digital scrapbooking and so do many other crafters, but we can't afford expensive running costs.

    :-)

  • Got mine for $199 on sale. Seemed too good to be true, but the many customer reviews I read are true. This machine does everything but make coffee, and it does it well, reliably and easily. OCR'ing a stack of documents is a breeze with the ADF. It's so fast, I finished an entire movie script to Word doc in 3 minutes. FAX works great even on a single shared line with a TAD. Well designed and thought out machine. And it's 11x17 throughout.. scan, FAX, print, copy.

  • @9hello123 You obviously did.

  • I love Brother!!
