They're probably going to hear the "complaints" from the Disneyland one and change it for the Florida one. I really wish there could be another castle in California!!
The ride's the same but that's where the similarities end. Disney California Adventure's building needed to match the Paradise Pier theme. A castle wouldn't have worked. The entrance is a replica of The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, and the building itself has the look of an early 20th century aquarium in California.
@adwestmediairvine actually they are starting to manuevar away from the "California" theme... as an annual pass holder it kindave ticked me off because wat they are doing is they are trying to create more of a DISNEY influence more then a "California Pier" feel. This is scene is stripping down the Sun Wheel => Mickey's Fun Wheel. Orange => Silly Symphony. Mahalan Madness => Goofy's Sky School. The only reason they didnt make a giant castle is because it wouldve taken up too much space.
@BlackStarx3 They aren't really trying to manuevar away from it as they are trying to balance Disney and California together. How do I know? Buena Vista Street ==> Old Los Angeles Paradise Pier ==> Many boardwalks and piers in CA Hollywoodland should be self explanatory and so on.
Disney wouldn't make a giant castle on Paradise Pier. That wouldn't fit the area at all. Disney does a thing called "theming". Everything has to match the area it's in.
I knew WDW would have a clone, but I thought they'd change it up a bit. You know, like they did with Snow White's Scary Adventure, The Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, ect. ect. ect.
I wish they didn't do the exact same ride from DCA because, I've already watched it on youtube. I wanna new suprise being at a diferent park, it should just bring that, but I can't change any of thier desisions. But I do respect their decisions. But they should really add the Urusla battle scene. Skipping that scene kinda ruins the ride because it's such an important part of the movie.
@yostar312 I know right they should change the ride a little. Like when they brought Tower of Terror to DCA they made it a different ride not just a copy.
@MrWoohoo82 it isnt exactly copying it if it is made by the same people and disneyland still has the ferries wheel and a different castle then disney world
Oh gosh! I can't wait for this! 8D I hope whenever I go to Disney World next year or so it will be done so I can go on it! 8D I've been waiting for this ride for YEARS! <33 Thank you, Disney!!! <33
This look really amazing. Although, I don't think Eric's Castle is good for the building. I mean, of course, it looks gorgeous but it's not really 'under the sea'. I think Triton's Castle would have fit better to the concept on the ride. Also, it doesn't seem u guys made a developing to the final battle scene....please put a huge ursula! it's not too late! no offence but the DCA version's final battle scene sucks...
@MrMizunoYoshiki You just think your all that because you live in Flordia and you get the best Disney theme park! you get 4 parks here at california we only have 2!
I SAW THEM BUILDING THIS ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO AND THEY WILL BE NEWLY FINISHED WHEN I GO BACK SO EXCITED!!!

This looks amazing! Love Eric's castle! Are we really going to have a boat ride (1:15) and what's the cave at 2:17 (the right) and what's 2:23?
