  • wow 45-80 frames per second that sucks. the larger teh spread the worse. your better off with lower consistant frames then high ping with more then half less on teh low FPS Fluxuation is bad. i wouldn't be bragging about 45-80! 35 - 60 is better then 45-80. poor guy!!

  • @ez0469

You must be new here and like most new people you mustn't know what your talking about, keep in mind Fraps is a 60% CPU hogger. The frame rate doesn't jump as you'd think and no, to your statement your wrong, higher frames is better.

When I play, it doesn't jump from 45-80 in a few seconds, its silly if you'd think it does.

45-85 is over the course of a long play, some parts would dip, but they wouldn't dip 35 fps in the course of a small amount of time. Making for a smooth game play.

  • @demonicwarrior1

if it is continuously dipping it is bad to have a high like that and a low like that . no I am not wrong about it. now if it isn't swinging like that all the time then it is fine. i really doubt that your rigs getting that igh but that is fine. no need to proove it. if it is Awesome score. i do 50's with a nvidia GTX275 in SLI, both configured for Graphics, and a Descrete Physics PCIe 1x card. which is why I doubt your getting that high, GJob though

  • @ez0469

Keep in mind, it is a low resolution.

  • @demonicwarrior1

Personally when I have FRAPs loaded and recording i loose all of about 5-10 frames 10-20. I have a Core 2 Duo E7400 though OC'd to 3.61 Ghz typically On my last rig that is. this new one is better, but i have it totally stock!!

"FRAPs usage 10% more for me, whats up with yours?"

  • @demonicwarrior1

I forgot to mention i specialize in gaming PC's and sell them for a living! nudge nudge. I did miss that your using a low resolution. spaced it ! hey it happens..

  • i have no problem with my core i3 530 + hd 4850 + 6gb ram,i can run the benchmark directx 10 at 1400x1050,aa 4x,everything high and 90-92% of the benchmark are never below 60fps but the 8% left it's very rare below 40

  • Will this run RE5? AMD Athlon™ II dual-core processor P320*, 3GB, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250,Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit,2.1GHz,320GB.

  • @GRH235

Proberly not, try downloading the benchmark tool to see.

  • @GRH235

probably with less tehn half the eye candy, and medium Resolusion!!

  • @ez0469 dont worry, i got a i5 and a ati 550v re5 runs smooth on my dell laptop :)

  • im assuming framerate is 30 fps becasue of recording program right, because pretty much same as you except framerate is 50-70 fps

  • @charliephayer123

he unlocked FRAPs otherwise he wouldn't hit 40. if he didn't then wwewll hmm Odd, weird

  • @keishimasengi

Uncomparable, post a coheasive spec of your machine, plus settings and resolution that you were running the game.

Keep in mind that this is quite old this video you could be running anything by now.

  • 5:54 that is so weird.6.0 FPS?LOL

  • Yea, for some reason when I have a recording going for too long FRAPS drops the FPS like crazy.

I had to split the recording, otherwise it would of ruined the rank at the end of the benchamark.

  • @demonicwarrior1

becuase you have a memory leak somewhere, which is why your Flux is so high even on a differen area, your frames should still be closer

  • my rig:

    quad 2.3ghz cpu

    4gb kingston ram

    gigabyte hd4850 (zalman cooler)

    1tb hdd

    xp 32bit

it's somewhat similar to yours but my average framerate for re5 is around 65-70 fps

  • Same when I'm not recording its around 60-80, but when I am recording my fps is cut in half or even more in some cases.

  • Muito loko
