This was an awesome rally. Bill is one heck of a driver, Brockway was a bit nerve racking with the tie downs, but we kept on pushing. We now know it takes 3 tie downs to keep the engine from falling out of the engine bay.
all true, Sam Smith was actually there when I handed the guy $500 for the car. Thanks for posting the video. I placed first in the National 2WD class that weekend with a motor held in place by trailer tie down straps.
@Chaosmotorsport: Good deal man, I'm not sure if I talked to you or not there, but a gentleman who was working with the car(he drives an E30 iX) ripped on me for putting an M42 in my E21....haha oh well. I assume the S14 fits into the category of being a factory available component?...nice catch! If you have the old M42 around and it's taking up space I could always use a spare, even if it's trashed! You guys planning on running LSPR this year?
