Mine is the size of a grapefruit, and my Dr. told me to hold off until it starts to bother me. I told her it was already causing me a lot of pain and very heavy cycles, but she said to hold off until it gets real bad....why would I want to wait for that??????? There are times the pain is so bad I can't stand up. What would be her reason for me to wait?

@chrissylm37: There are complications with these surgeries, maybe she was just seeing if your body's immune system would kick in and help reduce their size. Although you may be upset at her, she was actually looking out for your best interest. On my site I place a naturpathic approach to fibroids, it will remain posted for a day or two.
