His reaction (and the fact that he keeps his American accent during his tirade) just goes to show you all how seriously he takes his job, how deep he goes into character and what a dedicated actor he is. Actors Whoopi Goldberg and Terry Crews, as well as directors Darren Aronofsky and Ron Howard, have publicly defended The Bale's actions, some of them citing the practice that crew members are to remain still while the camera is rolling. You're all fucking nuts. Christian Bale is the most dedicated and most talented actor of the 21st century. It was Shane Hurlbut's fault that he ruined The Bale's scene twice in the same day! He probably didn't deserve to get owned this brutally, but he sure as hell needed somebody to scold him for his actions. The Bale, according to the director McG, reacted like this because he was in the middle of the most dramatic scene of the movie.
