I live in Winnipeg (which is in southern Canada) where we have 5 months of snow, averaging at about 20 cm, with a average temperature of about meh...-28 C? If we're lucky. Sure, nothing compared to say, Alaska, but I'm pretty sure we hold our own =)

i live in england and we had a week full of non stop snow that was about 6 inches thick. And i used to live in sweden so it wasnt a big deal there if it snowed and non of the schools closed or anything. :)

You are soooo lucky. In Florida, the question isn't "How much snow?", it's more like, "Oooooh, snow ! I've never seen that before! What's it look like?" because we have NO SNOW. None.The last time it snowed was somewhere near Orlando in (I think, not sure) the '80s. The high in Chicago right now is about 41. In Tampa, near where I am, the high is 81. 40 degree difference. Holy guacamole.

hey snow days are great right?? kinda wrong there in my case. over here in kentucky we had an ICE storm. And then it snowed. woo-hoo. January 26th was the last day we've had school and we're out tomorrow, Febuary 4, as well. And I just got power back at my house about 3 hours ago and it went out on Tuesday, January 27th. By which we already have several inches to over a foot of snow where I am in Maine and are expecting more tomorrow. Plus my driveway looks like a skating rink. Great way to break a hip.

Thats too funny since we just got over a foot of snow..slippery roads everywhere..most of the city was shut down..and yet our university stayed open..
Guess thats just "normal" when your in New Brunswick Canada and the snow piles can reach your roof..

The snow day was kind of ridiculous. It wasn't even snow it was ice. My sister was freaking out telling me that the street was covered in ice. So I go look and there are little patches everywhere, haha! Remember a couple years ago when it snowed in April? Craziness!

Ha ha... We've gotten over 120 inches so far this year. This past week has been 5-9 inches/night, and yet, no snow day.

Wow I can't even see the snow on the ground. I am from Minnesota (no I don't have that creepy Sarah Palin accent like everyone thinks). But we only get school closed if it is to cold to start the buses. Which is never because that is like -40. But yay I really like all of the song, sorry I can't go to the MySpace (school computer). Yoda's mom? They should have put Anakin's DAD. That would give everyone something to think about for a while. I love that the snow closed down your university, Kaleb. Living in Utah, three feet of snow doesn't close down the colleges...unless the pipes freeze. :)

I've only gotten like 3 snow days this year, even though its snowed a ton and two of those days were because it was 25 below. that's what it takes to shut down school here in Michigan. That or like 12 in of snow

i would just like to say that I live in way southern Canada (1/2 hour from Toronto)
and we had a snow day yesterday!!
Though we gained 20 centimeters of snow overnight, adding to the massive amount we had before!

wish I got a snow day. :( Our roads are made out of ice,and there is tons of snow EVERYWHERE, has been all week and yet we get nothing. Probably because that is just how it is here. Oh well. :) Enjoy your day off!
