That looks like a pretty good conversion of this game. At any rate, the Witch Doctor battles don't seem ridiculous like they do in the NES game. He actually looks like a rhino sorcerer.
I was researching the ADVENTURE ISLAND series on Wiki and found mention of this game in the entry. Boy, I wish this had been brought to the USA. I'm hoping for a late release on the PS2 or maybe a cheap release for the Wii. I would have bought it for GameCube but now the system is officially dead. C'mon Hudson! Bring this one over ... it's not too late!
I could be playing this on PS2...and enjoying it. But alas...it's not in NA. Why is this, Hudson Soft? Why?
