  • Yeah i remember special ed,used to be able to rhyme this number backwards while executing a perfect runnin' man.Real hip-hop is eternal...

  • 2:43 Random hobo chillin in the hole in the wall..

  • At 1:29 now if you held that money out you would get mugged. But then....man.

  • Rumor

  • Yo!!! I remember when this dropped there was a rumar that dude only had one hand. It's funny because..if you look at the first album cover for some reason you only see one hand in all of the pictures that he took. I thought it was true...haaaa.... Crazy!!

  • *sigh*... Another person sayin' "I'm such-n-such age and I don't listen to new stuff" quote again for thumbs ups. Once again, who cares who old an individual is? Just listen and like this song insted postin' that god damn line. Damn, I see folks my age do this all the time!

  • 1 guy did made it in this life -- well fucc him :)

  • This song is truly clever. Lyrics are just too ill and make sense, pure skill. Special Ed is definitely a legend.

  • 1 person doesnt have it made

  • I want special Ed's jacket sty;e back then looked cool

  • how can anyone dislike this

  • I clicked this video to hear some real rap instead I get fuckin deafened through having headphones on full blast by some club music advert ?..

  • @MichaelBroadhead7 lol advertizements suck

  • Danmmmm.... i miss the 90s

  • To all you young cats, this is how you are supposed to rap. This was the type of music I grew up on. Lyrically, none of these new rappers could ever come up with rhyme schemes and flow like Special Ed did in this song. Every lyric made sense and had meaning. When I was in high school, they would play the hell out of this song on MTV Raps. These new artist need to take notes.

  • this is dope

  • a legend

  • 1 dislike from lil wayne

  • It will never be the same when it comes to hip-hop. There`s good music out there but you have to look hard for it. They used to play this on MTV and thr radio. My 14 year old son listens to the same rap that I grew up on and I`m 40.

  • @yungac3 Im 16 but i can't agree with your opinion... Just don't be lazy and you will find some good hip-hop artists nowadays .Hip-Hop is still alive man!

  • drive around on gta listening to this (H)

  • Str8 up chilly most from coast II coast!!

  • I'm 38, so I'm not so little. I understand true hip hop and the south ain't got it. Fools used to roll cadies with rims and be gangsta back in the 80's and 90's. The south is always 10 yrs. behind. There are of course some good artists ou of the south, but not as many as the east or west coast!

  • Wow this brings back memories! I was 11 years old when this dropped rocking the high top fade!

  • Yo this shit is dope! Hip Hop used to be so much better. Even the 17 yr old kid knows that real hip hop is dead! Music from the south sucks.......

  • @carlicon1 man u lil niggas dont kno shit bout da south wat u hear be mainstream music nigga u dont kno shit bout da real south

  • 2:45 - 3:04 makes me totally ectasy

  • @ratiman thank you

  • I also have a video about special people! My mom wrote the background song and I'm singing it. It's called "Bridging Our Worlds" and no matter who you are you will be moved....

  • Im 17 and this is my 1st time Hearing this and I'm Pissed off my ears missed A classic. After Listening to this Song i just noticed that Hip hop is Fucking dead man..it's Fucking Dead.Every rhyme he kicked was Like Knowledge.Man this just Makes you Sigh. Thumbs Up if you feel me!!!

  • @yungac3 im 17 and i feel the same way

  • @yungac3

YEAH MAN...DA GAME DIED A LONG TIME AGO....THE GAME IS JUST FULL OF BUBBLE GUM RAPPERS

  • @yungac3 yeah i feel you.. there should be more music with message.. i mean artists can go live.. and do artist moves, but he hit the tee like on shop. did you know he was only 16? he's one of my idols, and influences... ahead of his time. -jking walking1way.. who knows when somebody remembers your name..

  • @yungac3 og on deck right there..check out true hip hop story.. made me respect him even more

  • @yungac3

Don't feel too bad. I know MCs in their 30's who still think hip-hop is just Tupac and Snoop. My cousin and I were lucky to have understood it when we were still in primary school in the early 80's. This made it more enjoyable in high school. I wrote my first rhyme at the age of 10, I think. And it made more sense than some of the songs that were on the air at the time. Anyway just be happy that you are in the minority, because ignorance is not bliss when knowledge is so powerful.

  • @yungac3 We need young kids like you to start making this type of stuff again.

  • @yungac3 Same. Same age same feelings. I hate mainstream rap we get nowadays, kid rappers thinkin there sick with practically lyrics on repeat.

  • @yungac3 Want Knowledge ? Check out My Melody by Eric B & Rakim

  • my mum went high school with him in Brooklyn lol

  • really great classic, but seriouly if you really had it made you wouldnt be wearing a 5 dollar coat like that.

  • @dannyortiz76 they used to jack those coats from kids back in the day you jag off. You must be a youngster,

  • @dannyortiz76

You do understand that this song was meant sarcastically, right? When he says he has twenty cars, he is walking trough a car dump. When he says he has an island, he is standing on a patch of sand in the water. He's just messing around. That's what makes this song so great. Plus, that was not a cheap jacket back in the days. I once heard that Special Ed got robbed a lot. He had crazy loot, so he actually did have it made...

  • Always a classic

  • Damn, every time I hear the opening lines .... idk, just love this song a whole lot.

  • SPECIAL ED -UNDER RATED AND USUALLY FORGOTN

  • Good old times, Hip Hop 4 Life!

  • damn... i wish i was living back in those days

  • I love the Kid n' Play dance they're doing!

  • 1 of the all time classics.

  • I got it made.

  • I rock the tape in my tool room stereo to this day.

  • how is the dance at 0:38 called i keep seeing it in a lot of places

  • @HipHopLives95

  • that track was a soundtrack of a videogame i played but i cant remember which game that was

  • @sirensone gta 4

  • one of my favorite raps of all time. I wonder wat hapnd 2 Ed? Damn!! This kid was super fly!!! This was bck when true hip-hop was in demand! when u betr not touch a microphone unless u had mad skills! when u graced the microphone wth dignity and pride. when u wrote something that made u say "yo wat did that kid say??? rewind that!!" there's only a small handful of true emcees left.

  • @RobB72772 The Underground.

Beast1333, Immortal Technique, Matt Maddox, ATMA, Son of Saturn. There's multiple others.
