  • Well, actually those translations are kinda' wrong. You see, the word water translates simply as "agua", so the article "el" comes from "the" so "el agua" isn't just "water" in english, it translates as "the water". The same for "the meat", "the food". Now, gender in spanish is somehow difficult, because there are some words that are feminine and others that are masculine, for example: water; the word on itself is feminine, but the article must be in masculine, as "El agua".

  • @aLdOoherrera hello my name is victor manuel i speak spanish but i am studing english, i think she is speaking well, some words are femenine or masculine but you can go learning that very easy on the time ok, good bye

  • Anyway, Why somebody pronounce VOSOTROS as Vosotros, somebody as Bosotros? And words like INVITAR: i can't apprehend how do i have to speak iMBitar, iMVitar, iNBitar or maybe iNVitar?

  • @Vilyus seriously!!! I was thinking the same!

  • @Vilyus B and V are pronounced the same

Don't u notice that some spanish speakers pronounce Bery well instead of very well??

  • @Vilyus its because there isnt a letter "V" in Spanish. So whenever you see V, it is pronounced by a B letter, so Vosotros is like BOsotros, Vamos is BAmos, invitar is InBItar...hope that helps :)

If you ever choose to learn Arabic, same exact way. No V letter, only B.

  • @xoxomiraclexoxo Wrong. It depends on where you live. Some countries in Latin America do use V.

  • she should make more videos so i can learn 2 communicate with my friend's mom and dad

  • TACO BELL

  • I still cannot understand about diferences in pronunciation B and V. Soy panda triste :'(

  • @Vilyus No hay diferencia :)

  • @Vilyus there is no diference :P

  • @felipef1995 yes there is, you can tell if its a b or a v by the sound that the person makes.

  • Hola, I found this tutorial very helpful. Thank you!

  • Wtf. Itz not. EL or LA. Just pollo mariscos sopa.

  • @mejia229b They use the article at the begining of each word because while in english there is no gender in the articles, there is in spanish. If they don't clear that up people learning could end up saying "El Sopa" or something like that...

  • Why do english guys say S when they have to say C?

  • she buz la di wono bo shicolaa boo wa le doo lol jk thumbs up if u thought i was talking in another langue

  • @turlur13 because in spanish it sort of have many specifications and it applies for almost every thing

  • hahah its LA AGUA NO EL AGUA HAHAAH PUTA LA PUTA HAHAHA

  • @Phenomenon911 Es el agua, ya que aunque agua sea femenino se utiliza "el" para evitar la cacofonía. No hables si no tienes ni puta idea.

It's "el agua", because even if "agua" is a feminine word, we use "el" to avoid cacophony. Don't speak if you have no fuckin idea.

PS: I'm spanish, so don't try to refute me.

  • @Phenomenon911 no actualy its el agua its an exception to the rule just liike el dia which means day...for you research is a must

  • no no no no no... this one is bad!

    the food : la comida

    food : comida

same for all the other shit she said in this video

  • how the fuck could there be a dislike button in a video trying to help your ass speak a little bit of spanish?!

  • @ConstipatedTroll lol ikr

  • @ConstipatedTroll LMBO!!

  • @ConstipatedTroll Have you considered applying for a job at the UN? Diplomacy and tactful expression is in your DNA.

  • @AndrewZap i will consider now sir :)

  • @ConstipatedTroll Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan you're right !

  • @ConstipatedTroll Very Funny!!!

  • @ConstipatedTroll pplz who kant speak spanish lol

  • La comida doesn't mean "food", it means "the food" or "the fixed price lunch special". If you doubt me, go to a restaurant in Madrid and ask them to confirm this. Actually, a single "r" in a word does not get rolled so much. Notice the second time she says "la propina"... prrrrrropina. What?! Where's the village that has all of these experts anyway?

  • these are just words, not phrases.

how about you teach some questions or statements?

te gustaría una bebida? no? por qué no? te gusta solamente agua? bien bien, te doy que quieres, agua. sabes, el doctor recomienda seis vasos de agua por el día? bien, lo sabes ahora.

  • Sopa en la ropa! The perfect xmas present for prison!

  • jajajajjajajjaj she said LOS MARISCOS jajajajjajajja its not like that

    its MARISCO

    jejejejeje aii que risa.. jeje

  • @paulaspain1997 it's the same thing, kiddo.

  • @DavithRedway nope ;)

  • she's wrong, she's saying an extra word The= el, la Food it's not “la comida“ it's just “comida“ The food is “la comida“

  • @1996TheJp But in English you don't need the article (the), you say "food" while in Spanish you always need it.

  • @DavithRedway She is just saying the word so you just say the word translated but if you're using it on a sentence of course you have to put the (the) but for translating it's without it

  • @DavithRedway well it depends, if you're just using it on a sentence you need the (the) but for translating you don't

  • @1996TheJp "I like italian food"/ "Me gusta LA comida italiana". Uno no dice "I like *the* italian food" estaría mal. El artículo indefinido en inglés no se usa como en español. Believe me, i do know what i'm talking about.

  • @DavithRedway I do too, I'm mexican. To translate is just without it, but when you talk you use the la, el, etc. If you want to teach just the word “food“ you say “comida“ but if you want to teach “I like mexican food“ you say “Me gusta LA comida mexicana“

  • Comment removed

  • @DavithRedway in english or spanish it depends on what ur saying but not all the time its used

  • she's wrong, she's saying an extra word The= el, la Food it's not “la comida“ it's just “comida“

  • los huevos = testicles in most countries

    las blanquillas = eggs (food)

  • she puts the word the in front of the noun, that wont help, but i guess its one small step to learning

  • you should put things like ala verga ,te mamo el culo, vete al pio , la chocha // ya tienes pelos en el culo stuff like that to deffend your self against mexicans XD

  • Les pone sustantivos porq en ingless no dicess : I drink the water ..x si no --I drink water--

  • "los mariscoos" si puedee serr -- q tal te parecieron los mariscos?--!

  • she talks like if she is talking to a baby

  • LOS HUEVOS

    LOS HUEVOS

  • You never say "Los mariscos". It's a wonrg sentence. It's "El marisco", allways.

  • @Alexandra1652 @Alexandra1652 If you're name is Alexandra (which, judging from your yt name it is) then call yourself Alejandra...unless, you want people to think that you're a boy... :-S

  • @Englishdosser86 There's no need to change your name, we won't think she is a boy if she is called Alexandra (aka Alex), we're not that stupid -.-

  • I'm grateful that I do not have to learn spanish with these videos. They are very inefficient.

If you can do better, then put out your own video and let other people like you who have no life and can already speak spanish evaluate it and see what kind of reaction your teaching gets. P.S. Have someone explain to you what "evaluate" means. Say it with me now, e-v-a-l-u-a-t-e.

and i hate the way this girl speaks spanish. lol

  • Comment removed

  • whether it is true that in Spanish reads v just like b ?

  • @MarTia4 Yes, it's true. We really don't make any difference between us. It's easier to speak but more difficult to know which one is in a word to write it
