hey...i am gettin invisalign in a few weeks...and i need an honest answer....do they hurt??? beacuse im aware that it hurts after there on, obviousely beacuse of the moving of the teeth.....but during the procedures dat first day...?

I'm getting Invisalign in a few months (going in the 10th for impressions, then a month or so from then I get my aligners) and from what I've read and the videos I've watched, when you first put them in, it feels weird, possible discomfort, and then as you're getting used to them for the first day or two, there may be some pain. As far as I know it doesn't last long though. Take some Aleve or Tylenol and you should be fine.

Hello, I am considering invisalign but I have one concern...

I realize that there are the retainers that you keep on 24/7 just like the treatment for about 2 months or so but then you have to wear them at night as well. The ones I have to wear at night...how long do I have to wear them for? Rest of my life?

Depends on each person but we now have permanent retainers bonded behind the teeth and you will no longer need to take them in and out. most have them and do not even notice it after some time.

sweetnecter...the reason she has nothin wrong with her teeth is cuz thats her retainer (she says so in the beginning) so basically her treatment is done she just has to wear a retainer now...invisalign isnt 100% invisible so whether there is gaps or not, if someone is super up close they can see it....otherwise its pretty easy to hide...

OF course its freaking invisible cause she has no gaps or anything wrong with her teeth. Try showing it on a person with gaps, then you will see its not soo "invisible"

well i'm on invisalign and my wisdoms came out. it won't affect it too badly but they do take tons of xrays to see where they're at to make sure it won't throw your teeth out of wack when they come out. It's totally worth it. Dr. Noor is my dentist and i love the invisaligns

i've heard some are 6000. but it prevents things like the metal infection from braces.
