why does this game have a track called nurburgring which is not similar to the actual nurburgring at all? That might go for other tracks in the game too.

grid's such a great mix of arcade and simulation. gran turismo has lost its sense of speed over the years. i'll hit a turn at 80mph when it feels like i'm going 15mph.

anyways, i think the next installment of grid will be better at the simulation aspect after watching what codemaster have been doing with formula1-2010.

One feature NOBODY has EVER noticed about this game, is that the names of the AI drivers, aren't made up by the big wigs at Codemasters.Those names you see, really exist in real life. Tom Kristensen won Le Mans 8 times for example. And I also saw Romain Dumas in there too, he won Le Mans this year. That, for somebody like me, is one of the most awesome features of the game, and the reason why I bought the game. The fact that it has the Audi R10 TDi also helped abit... xD

i think that this game is really good. you shouldnt even mod cars anyway because thats what its like for real racing. even building your way up to the top is another great way i think as well. i think this game is great 5 star on this.

How can I calibrate the Logitech G25 steering wheel to this game? The game is so fantasticly realistic, and the G25 stick shit works fine (the clutch pedal doesn't) but the 900 degree steering is far from realistic. I tried to adjust the steering settings, but any adjustment turned the steering ability off altogether. Is this game designed only for the standard PS3 controller and not a steering wheel?

I don't like the dirt series nor the mcollin rally series and drirt 2 that coming up isn't looking bright either, but Grid is awesome! It's a perfect mix between arcade nd sim racing with makes it a great game!

Excellent review! I bought it after a weekend rental and have been enjoying thoroughly. I would agree that it is between arcade and sim but that makes it less frustrating than say GT5 (especially with Flashbacks) and more engaging that a arcade racer like Ridge Racer, et. al.

I wish Codemasters had implemented split-screen local racing, but I'm glad to see that there is a LAN option, something sorely missing from too many PS3 titles. Practice laps before races would be nice too.
