I honistly don't feel that banning paintball anywhere is the solution to this particulair problem. The root of the problem is the lack of value of human life, respect for our fellow neighbors (be it just next door or across the globe). A paintball ban is not the cure. The cure lies in our everyday life. Doing the right thing. Feeding the hungry. Helping the fallen. Being there for the others. Some of us find it in God, others in the things that gives us joy (like paintball).

I live in Germany and I'll tell you that that German gov. Since the incedent they tried to ban lasertag, nerf, raise prices on video games, things that simulated killing. Everybody that tried to lay that law down had no idea what paintball was. They thought is was a bunch of people running through a forrest when in fact most of Germany plays speedball and don't think of it as killing.

the sadest thing is that there isn´t even a link between the kid who shot all these people and paintball at all. He could´ve never played paintball in germany since all the fields allow playing at the age of 18 and up no exeptions. He did not own a paintball marker or had any paintball gear whatsoever woodland or sub air in his room. Maybe if he had played paintball and became part of the community he´d not commited this horrible act of violence.

If they ban paintball guns they might as well ban real guns because this happens with real guns a lot more than paintball guns. That would be stupid of them to do that. im 13 and i started paintball when i was 9. i found that it was a caring inviroment and does NOT encourage taking others lives. i found that it was a nice place to be to hang with your friends and have alot of fun and i think the german people need to see that side in the sport first without looking at the bad side. my heart goes out to those people who were killed and mike i hope that many people should see this video because they have to.

Germany is one of Europes biggest producers of fire arms!! Thay means they make loads of money with it. Instead of getting their weapon industry under controle (wich means they loose a lot of money) they blame paintball of causing masacres at schools..

I was once about to go their to play for my first time, then i saw a guy get shot and they started cursing, no instead i left and din't play. I had to drive 45 minutes for nothing. I was born in Germany and lived there for many years and now live in the USA. For those that dont know paintball has been a very controversial topic in Germany for many years, and when they had a pic of someone in a scenario game wearing a Nazi outfit(which is illegal in Germany)on cover of the newspaper that was telling how bad paintball is and why it should be banned it made paintball seem evil. Fortunately the law was rejected, but we still need to show people how safe and fun this sport is.

The kid that commited the massacre in Germany never every played paintball, let alone held a marker in his hands in his whole life. You have to be 18 years of age in Germany in order to play PB, he was barely 17 at the time.
He committed the massacre with a 9mm Beretta that his dad stored at home, there is simply NO connection between the massacre and paintball.

Germany is one of Europes biggest producers of fire arms!! Thay means they make loads of money with it. Instead of getting their weapon industry under controle (wich means they loose a lot of money) they blame paintball of causing masacres at schools..

Not the ejam paintball field, over their every one is always cursing and stuff. I was once about to go their to play for my first time, then i saw a guy get shot and they started cursing, no instead i left and din't play. I had to drive 45 minutes for nothing. So right now i'm looking for a local field in paramus or clos to paramus.

I was born in Germany and lived there for many years and now live in the USA. For those that dont know paintball has been a very controversial topic in Germany for many years, and when they had a pic of someone in a scenario game wearing a Nazi outfit(which is illegal in Germany)on cover of the newspaper that was telling how bad paintball is and why it should be banned it made paintball seem evil. Fortunately the law was rejected, but we still need to show people how safe and fun this sport is.

The kid that commited the massacre in Germany never every played paintball, let alone held a marker in his hands in his whole life. You have to be 18 years of age in Germany in order to play PB, he was barely 17 at the time.
He committed the massacre with a 9mm Beretta that his dad stored at home, there is simply NO connection between the massacre and paintball.
It's just a bunch of dimwitted, uptight, ignorant politicians who want to ban a sport that they cannot understand and/or appreciate
