@xraidedlok its just like the ps1 version, only better graphics and some of the cutscenes have been slightly altered as well as the soundtrack (unfortunately). i think you can get on pc now aswell....

@HeavenXxX The codec calls maybe the same, but the actually graphics in game are NOWHERE near what they were on the ps1, the graphics were terrible, compared to this game when it came out. Of course, some people always prefer originals, and I'm not bashing the ps1 version at all. But these graphics, and some of the voice over is a bit better than the original.

The moment where I thought Snake was going to die was a good moment. But Naomi dying sucked, Vamp dying felt forced, Ocelot's backstory was over convoluted and created a logic that defies and makes fun of the rest of the game. The Gameplay was by no means revolutionary, it was part SOCOM, Part Resident Evil 4, and part Gears of War. Level design was cool in the first half, but the second half had too many boring or annoying areas. Bosses mostly sucked too. (Particularly Ocelot)

@Carlitonsp1 What do you mean sloppy design? The level design was basically the exact same as this game which is one reason why implementing the MGS2 engine ruined it for me. The ability to hang, roll and FPS mode were features that worked for MGS2 but were useless here and made the game extremely easy, especially the boss battles.. The voice acting was boring as hell (granted I'm glad some of the voices were changed but the acting was still lame).

MGS1 depicted Shadow Moses as this dark, gritty, sort of mysterious place. The music was dark and kinda creepy, there was good sound effects like echoes on the voices, footsteps, knocking on walls. Everything sounds too clean and polished in TTS. The experience playing MGS1 compared to this is unbeatable dude..

Yes, the design is the same, but I hated how you had to backtrack across such linear areas for such little reward. The Cutscenes were already cheesy and over the top in my opinion, but I'm glad they were at least made cool here. I never really got a good sense of atmosphere in Either MGS version, the only thing in particular that stood out to me was how much darker MGS litterally was, but it was more annoying than anything because it made tough to see clearly.

He was impersonating the DARPA chief and died of FoxDie in the cell at the beginning of the game. That's why the real DARPA chiefs body is found in the cell you get locked in later on. :)

@slimsean017 Here's what you do. You either get the Wii Classic Controller which plugs in the Wii-remote, or buy a Gamecube controller which can be plugged into the Wii.

Give the Wii a chance. I was skeptical too, but Virtual Console is awsome. Download NES, SNES, N64, SegaMS, SegaMD and TG-16 games to play whenever you want. And if you ever liked Super Mario 64 you'd be doing yourself a favor by getting Super Mario Galaxy.
