You can head to the abyss which is the main pvpve place at lvl 25 but (depending on your race where this is) once you are able to enter either Morheim (Asmodean) or Eltnen (Elyos) the other race can show up via rifts to try and pvp you. I would say Aion is almost nothing but a pvp game and is very fun. ((lvl 39 elyos cleric))

btw there is a lot of grinding but douple xp weekends and groups make the lvling process go by fast. 19-23 goes fast and 25-30 goes the fastest of all.

Haha, na he was way higher. Lots of resist and when I did hit him I did 1 damage ;). Can't tell what level he is though, probably between 30-35. All enemies are listed as "??" regardless of level

Since I don't like squishy, I've narrowed down my choices to Templar, Rouge, and Gladiator. I like the idea of Rouge though, because they get the most fun out of PvP. ;) If you're ever gonna play the american version of Aion, by NcSoft, join the Zikel server. :D The game comes out in a few days, and that's where I'll be. ^_^

WoW and Guildwars, Those are the two most successful games. and WoW isn't that great. It gets boring and it's easy. And the Pay method for Aion is better too... And Lineage two was trashed with bots because it failed. Lineage two can't be compared to Aion. same Company sure... different game. And I'm pretty sure that Blizzard will stick to WoW it seems like a one hit wonder to me.. WoW's graphics were a bit too childish for me also. Aion's intrigue me. But yes... WoW is over-rated..

I got one question: are clerics though and can take some hits without worries, because I always hate it when I am a healer who can't survive longer than 10 seconds. (I thought chanters only could wear chainmail)

Yeah, most clerics "sockets" HP in their gear. Giving them a huge HP pool, they also wear chainmail which is 2nd best when it comes to survival and their heals are strong. As a healer I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

How is the game atm, i was considering buying the korean version and playing till NA release. Tired of warhammer already. Also, is glad a good class still, i read some issues with skill animation delay messing up pvp when moving around?

Not sure about the skill animation delay thing, but being melee and play on a server from Korea will automatically give you a hard time to hit moving targets I'm sure.

The game's sweet, I like it quite a lot. Graphics, music and the atmosphere is <3. It's worth to try it out and see if the game fits your style :)

Aye, it's been out in Korea for nearly half a year (I started playing in december). It's undergoing oben beta in China atm and then moving on to Japan and Taiwan I think.

It's not as bad as I thought it would be. I understand the basics but obviously I miss out on different game features. And also the whole social thing since it seems no Korean understand English and some would probably report you for being a bot if you talk a different language :P.

from this vid i have to say clerics are pushing it to be over powered. correct me if im wrong but she was dropping 1300 instant heals. and she had time to heal for like 600 before an assassin reached her for hits but one thing i do like there making every class balanced as they possibly can even healers can put up a fight in this game, im deff getting this game when it comes out

the instant heal is a stigma, all classes got several good stigmas. surely it's a good spell, but it's kinda needed due to the damage people take (the big heal got a cooldown, so does the instance one). they are meant to be the best healers in the game, if they can't heal well then what's the use?

the only times I got time to cast a heal is when the opponent is CC'ed (clerics got a snare, which is what I used on Sior/the assassin).

Naa, the classes don't share the same stigmas.

You have 2 stigma slots at 20, 3 at 30, 4 at 40 and 5 at 50 and got different ones to choose between (class-wise), my cleric got the flash heal (instant heal on 30 sec cd) and a blind ability (5min cd, decreases the hit chance of melee/ranged).

Sior have one that resembles the shadowstep ability from WoW. To teleport behind the enemy. Lets say the heal does 1XXX, but then you can see Sior critting me for 9XX and I'm using a shield and chainmail.

Well throughout every MMO I've played I've always gone DPS - I think taking up a healing role after just being pew pew for so long would be a bit more exciting :]

Healing can get pretty intense - I used to play on a buddy's holy pally in WoW all the time ^^

The cleric looks so self sufficient too - proficient in both offense and defense to boot.

It's quite hard to say. I think Aion have a system where it says no to new characters of a specific race if there's too many of it, I'm not sure though.

The end game is all about having one side vs another in comparison to WoW so it's very important that the ratio between each side is close to equal. So there must be a system of some sort :]
