@cdmadahan - It was symbolism. They were tossing things they were giving up (things that symbolized their unhappy lives) into the car (which was later pushed off a cliff and destroyed). The guys themselves didn't perish. The unhappiness did.

Pat has definitely one of the best voices out there. Hearing him hit the high notes on a song like Dream On, or watching him sing When I Look To The Sky without a mic, he is AMAZING.

I have searched youtube looking for live versions, no luck. This is one of my faves by them. I love the orchestra-ish sound on the DOJ cd. This song ranks number 3 behind Drops Of Jupiter and Calling All Angels. Though it is HARD to narrow down their songs to just a few faves!

This has quickly become one of my top favorites from this band. Even though their new stuff is terrific, the Drops of Jupiter cd will always remain their best..in my opinion,anyway. Do they perform this song live at their shows nowdays? I have been searching this site for some live versions, had no luck.If anyone can steer me in the right direction with some concert clips of this song, I would appreciate it!

@Rigson Yeah, you're right!!! Did you know, according to wikipedia, Pat Monahan was in a led Zeppelin tribute band before he was in Train? That's why this is one of the few pop bands I really like, because they're influenced by the classics. : )
