haha your wrong us posting videos makes more and more people see this, so were getting new comers i gave 130 dollars to Sea Shepherd and bought a few shirts that's supporting them i wear the shirt for people to see.
Its an EXTREMELY long-range boat and can stay out all season.
It was reinforced with an extra half-ton of KEVLAR for the specific purpose of resisting exploding harpoons and gunshots, in case the whalers open fire.
The specific purpose of this very FAST ship will to put itself IN BETWEEN the harpoon ships and the whales.
It will also put itself in between the harpoon ships and the processing ship (butchering & canning factory) to prevent the transfer (and profit from) killed whales.
Because it's not that suitable for military purposes. They need a bit heavier armor. Kevlar is not a magic shield. Depleted Uranium is better, albeit much heavier (thus, better).
hate to admit it to you but the Kevlar did not make the boat strong enough to resist harpoons and gunshots. it was for making the boat strong enough for the frozen waters in the arctic
launched off the Steve Irwin like the small boats? seriously? the Ady Gil was 80 feet long. there would be no possible way to do that.
