I absolutely agree with your assertion that it is either malicious or idiotic of "god" to create a being like satan, knowing beforehand what the fate of such a creature would be. Personally, if such "god" existed, I would label them malicious, and would refuse to worship them anyway. In my opinion, the abrahamic god either doesn't exist at all or is completely unworthy of any respect, let alone worship.
