@pinoyflipside In this video, its not lowered. Currently, its only lowered 1.4" (Tein S-Tech springs). Soon, i will drop it on coilovers. Hard to give you an actual estimation as far as how low i will go, but i will drop it until i close the wheel-to-fender gap or until im happy with it :)
@bigdkyle they fit perfect. they were a lil tucked for my liking, so i got new 18's with a smaller offset and added some spacers. now the wheels sit flush and rub when going over bumps. i need my fenders rolled now... but damn it looks sexy :)
@calcatchem well if you get an axleback, you are pretty much set on it just being for sound/aesthetics. if you actually want some gain out of it, a full system will always be better than just an axleback/catback.
i personally think this is the nicest sounding exhaust (aside from the TRD exhaust, but those are pricey) which is why i got it :D but thats just me. it really all comes down to a matter of personal taste. some like loud and raspy, other like quiet, and others like muffled and deep.

@fn51zed the rims actually came on the car when i bought it so i have no idea how much they were. they dont even have a brand so i cant tell you what to look under. however, they are VERY similar to ADR Battle-Exe's 18x7.5" rims which are about $125 a wheel (about $500 for all 4 excluding tires).
@countrysk8er14 i got it from autopartswarehouse(dot)com, but i dont think they make them anymore, or sell them at least. i got it for a lil under 300 shipped.
@18bestbuy performance-wise, i just have the exhaust and an AEM cold air intake. as for other things like sound and body mods, check out the link in the description and look through the pages to see more updated pictures. i will update it more in the next few days or so cuz i just got a body kit but its not installed yet.
@18bestbuy if you have a GT, yes. but even a GTS wont sound too far off from that sound. however, i dont think they make this exhaust anymore so good luck finding one.
@18bestbuy theres a few other famouns ones for the celica like the Greddy Evo, HKS, Invidia, Greddy Ti-C, TRD (which is the most popular but pretty pricey for what it is, i heard), and Apexi.
I say go TRD if you get the chance. look up some videos here on youtube and check out the different exhaust notes certain exhausts have. thats how i came across mine :)
@ermir6 ABSOLUTELY!! the best choice you'll ever make :) if you had the option, you should go for the 6 speed GTS, but those are becoming harder to find especially if your picky...
i have never personally driven a GTS so i cant really vouche for them, but from what i hear from everyone that has one, it is definately worth getting the GTS. keep in mind though that the automatic GTS is slower than the 5-speed GT so from best to worst, the list would show
theres alot of things to take into account such as the milage, the condition, the title, and the options/features. mainly the mileage and condition is what the price is based on. also, getting it from a used car dealer will jack up the price alot. private sellers are always cheaper. i cant answer ur question cuz i need more information. whats the mileage on it? condition? clean or salvaged?
wow, you just wasted money on half of exhaust that uses really cheep muffler.... you would have got same affect if you were just to replace muffler with What ever Autozone has

why do you say its a cheap muffler? just cuz its not as expensinve as HKS or Greddy or any of those popular name brands? this is still a race-spec brand, its just not as well known as the others. and ive heard the ebay exhausts. the engines are louder than the actual exhaust. dont even think of putting this exhaust in that category. watch my other "drive-by" videos. please.

it pretty much depends on personal taste. some go with chrome (which is a no-no in my book), others go with black (gloss or flat), and i went with silver rims with a polished lip and now im planning on bronze or gold rims. what size are you planning on going with?
i wanted to get black rims and then tint my windows dark so that they go together well but i heard that black rims get chips in them from rocks and stuff. And im probably gonna get 17s or 18s
window tint goes good with any color car or rims. its not like people with gold wheels get gold tint lol. and if the wheels are PAINTED, then theyll have more of a tendency to chip regardless of color. however, if the rims are POWDERCOATED (which most aftermarket wheels are from the factory), they will be more resistant against chips due to road debris and such. my rims are powdercoated and i dont have a single scratch or chip on them and ive had them for about 2 years now :)

it all depends on what kind of sound youre looking for. for something suttle that wont attract too much attention yet still sounds mean, go with TRD (has the best gains, but a bit pricey). if u want something loud, go with apexi n1, invidia, or HKS. something quiet/deep - greddy evo. something not too loud but still with a deep "roar", go with ANSA. some ppl also just do straight pipes, decat, and some even unbolt their stock exhaust a bit. its up to u. just giving u options...
you mean the TRD body kit? yes, they sell them everywhere. the ones you see out on the market, however, are usually replicas for the most part. for an authentic kit, im pretty sure you can only get it at the dealer and it costs a pretty penny (over $1000 i think). the replicas are obviously cheaper tho, but be aware of the quality. its mostly a "you get what you pay for" kind of deal with most online distributors.
nothing really noticable. its an axle-back exhaust so im not running the full piping that will benefit my gas milage. this just makes it sound better :D

Ive had the generation before this, and the engine is smaller, its a 1.8 liter, compared to the newer celicas 2.4 liter engine. So, no, its a bit slower actually
@MrXScenekidX: the newer celicas have a 1.8L... unless ur referring to another celica with a 2.4 but the 2000-2005 models, both GT and GTS, come with 1.8L engines.
Thats the best sounding exhaust for the Celica and it can't be found ANYWHERE. I ended up going with the Greddy EVO2 exhaust and I feel no performance gains whatsoever. You feel the rumble inside the car, and the sound of bass, but from outside when I let friends drive it there is absolutely no difference in exhaust sound. It was a waste of money to be honest. Where did you find this exhaust?
i dont think they make this exhaust anymore. u can try contacting the manufacturer directly and ask them where u can get it (i know someone already did, but i forgot what they said). but yea i absolutely love this exhaust! its more of a deep rumble rather than a loud fartcan kinda noise.

well u can start off with the simple I/H/E mods (intake, headers, exhaust) and u can work ur way up from there. so far all i have is an intake and exhaust, but eventually ill get headers. my car is more for SHOW cuz i personally would prefer a stick shift car in order for it to be a GO car, but its not impossible with an automatic i guess. u lose alot of power with auto, tho, if u turbo it. just something to keep in mind...

thanks :) the silencer mutes the sound a lil bit, but it gets rid of the deep rumble rather than the loudness. i dont like it cuz since the hole on the silencer is smaller, the exhaust fumes sound like theyre being "rushed" out so u hear the wind passing through like a deflated balloon. i just leave it off for that reason. and i am extremely happy with this car! i get lots of compliments with it. but of course, it does look a lil different now than it does in this video. check out the link --->
theres no real SPEED difference, assuming ur talking about TOP SPEED. i top out at like 120 or so on a flat road and ive heard of some GTS owners going up to maybe 135 or so. no DRASTIC difference, but accelaration might be a bigger factor when it comes to the differences between the GT and the GTS. but that also depends on the driver...
oh i dont know. that TRULY depends on the driver. ive never done a 0-60 test on mine honestly. i probably should, tho i dont think itll be any faster than a 10 sec 0-60 considering all the weight i have in my car (big sound system and big rims) and its auto :/

i have never personally driven a GTS so i cant really vouche for them, but from what i hear from everyone that has one, it is definately worth getting the GTS. keep in mind though that the automatic GTS is slower than the 5-speed GT so from best to worst, the list would show
1. 6-Speed GT-S
2. 5-Speed GT
3. Auto GT-S
4. Auto GT (which is what i have unfortunately)
regardless, i love my celica :D

theres alot of things to take into account such as the milage, the condition, the title, and the options/features. mainly the mileage and condition is what the price is based on. also, getting it from a used car dealer will jack up the price alot. private sellers are always cheaper. i cant answer ur question cuz i need more information. whats the mileage on it? condition? clean or salvaged?

wow, you just wasted money on half of exhaust that uses really cheep muffler.... you would have got same affect if you were just to replace muffler with What ever Autozone has
You can buy better exhaust on ebay that is actually full exhaust and sounds better

why do you say its a cheap muffler? just cuz its not as expensinve as HKS or Greddy or any of those popular name brands? this is still a race-spec brand, its just not as well known as the others. and ive heard the ebay exhausts. the engines are louder than the actual exhaust. dont even think of putting this exhaust in that category. watch my other "drive-by" videos. please.

it pretty much depends on personal taste. some go with chrome (which is a no-no in my book), others go with black (gloss or flat), and i went with silver rims with a polished lip and now im planning on bronze or gold rims. what size are you planning on going with?

i wanted to get black rims and then tint my windows dark so that they go together well but i heard that black rims get chips in them from rocks and stuff. And im probably gonna get 17s or 18s

window tint goes good with any color car or rims. its not like people with gold wheels get gold tint lol. and if the wheels are PAINTED, then theyll have more of a tendency to chip regardless of color. however, if the rims are POWDERCOATED (which most aftermarket wheels are from the factory), they will be more resistant against chips due to road debris and such. my rims are powdercoated and i dont have a single scratch or chip on them and ive had them for about 2 years now :)

i didnt buy it cuz it was cheap. i bought it cuz of the tone (i did my research here on youtube before i bought it). it being cheap was just a plus.
ANSA is just as much of a performance brand as those u mentioned, theyre just not as popular. but hey, at least its not some ebay no-name brand...

it all depends on what kind of sound youre looking for. for something suttle that wont attract too much attention yet still sounds mean, go with TRD (has the best gains, but a bit pricey). if u want something loud, go with apexi n1, invidia, or HKS. something quiet/deep - greddy evo. something not too loud but still with a deep "roar", go with ANSA. some ppl also just do straight pipes, decat, and some even unbolt their stock exhaust a bit. its up to u. just giving u options...

you mean the TRD body kit? yes, they sell them everywhere. the ones you see out on the market, however, are usually replicas for the most part. for an authentic kit, im pretty sure you can only get it at the dealer and it costs a pretty penny (over $1000 i think). the replicas are obviously cheaper tho, but be aware of the quality. its mostly a "you get what you pay for" kind of deal with most online distributors.

the gen before this celica is way better imo. stock exhaust purrs way better than any new celica today and is suprisngly faster.

The only Gen 6 that is faster than the 190 Gen 7 is the GT4. The 190 is quicker than the rest.

Ive had the generation before this, and the engine is smaller, its a 1.8 liter, compared to the newer celicas 2.4 liter engine. So, no, its a bit slower actually

@MrXScenekidX: the newer celicas have a 1.8L... unless ur referring to another celica with a 2.4 but the 2000-2005 models, both GT and GTS, come with 1.8L engines.

Thats the best sounding exhaust for the Celica and it can't be found ANYWHERE. I ended up going with the Greddy EVO2 exhaust and I feel no performance gains whatsoever. You feel the rumble inside the car, and the sound of bass, but from outside when I let friends drive it there is absolutely no difference in exhaust sound. It was a waste of money to be honest. Where did you find this exhaust?

i dont think they make this exhaust anymore. u can try contacting the manufacturer directly and ask them where u can get it (i know someone already did, but i forgot what they said). but yea i absolutely love this exhaust! its more of a deep rumble rather than a loud fartcan kinda noise.

well u can start off with the simple I/H/E mods (intake, headers, exhaust) and u can work ur way up from there. so far all i have is an intake and exhaust, but eventually ill get headers. my car is more for SHOW cuz i personally would prefer a stick shift car in order for it to be a GO car, but its not impossible with an automatic i guess. u lose alot of power with auto, tho, if u turbo it. just something to keep in mind...

thanks :) the silencer mutes the sound a lil bit, but it gets rid of the deep rumble rather than the loudness. i dont like it cuz since the hole on the silencer is smaller, the exhaust fumes sound like theyre being "rushed" out so u hear the wind passing through like a deflated balloon. i just leave it off for that reason. and i am extremely happy with this car! i get lots of compliments with it. but of course, it does look a lil different now than it does in this video. check out the link --->

theres no real SPEED difference, assuming ur talking about TOP SPEED. i top out at like 120 or so on a flat road and ive heard of some GTS owners going up to maybe 135 or so. no DRASTIC difference, but accelaration might be a bigger factor when it comes to the differences between the GT and the GTS. but that also depends on the driver...

oh i dont know. that TRULY depends on the driver. ive never done a 0-60 test on mine honestly. i probably should, tho i dont think itll be any faster than a 10 sec 0-60 considering all the weight i have in my car (big sound system and big rims) and its auto :/
