Hmm... Chinese isn't a language. It's the general term for all languages in China (which is a lot). Also, if you want to learn Cantonese, some different Hanzi are used for words, so it makes naming this generally as Chinese retarded.

What's really retarded is being a smart-ass like yourself and playing pissed everytime someone dares to call the language "Chinese" when you and pretty much everyone else are fully aware of the fact that by "Chinese", everybody is referring to Mandarin Chinese simply because it's by far the most relevant Chinese language to them.

It's even more retarded 'cause Mandarin is called 中文 in Mandarin and even 國語 in Cantonese; so pretty much everyone must be a retard to you.

Far Eastern languages like Chinese, Korean, Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, ect. are super difficult because they sound so much different, and have extremely different writing!!
