  • doesn't matter how many times i watch this film, i cry every time )-;

  • Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmaron, Brother Bear and The Lion King are my three favourite animated films. DISNEY AND DREAMWORKS know how to please :D

  • No matter the ages Past Present or Future, no matter how many ppl are around. The connection between family and realigon will be our strongest link, even in the end it will be their just like out family and friends in our lives.

  • I wish the earth was like this but sadly population took over and made me feel sadness of what we do to our animals now and also my mom sadly said this movie is for little kids but it is not who agrees. Brother Bear is not just for little kids

  • if i die i want God to put my soal back on to the earth in that day in age were we lived one with nature, pollution free and no stupid exams, work and study to worry about every thing would be GREAT! :)

the human race now are non stop working machines who repeat the same cycle every day. wake up, eat, work non stop, home then bed

  • i wish i was alive back then. thats the way everyone should really be living. you know how when you take a dog and baby it and hand it everything and give it its own bed and it goes crazy? thats me living in a house with a computer, thats everyone "gathering" at the grocery store, "surviving"... hah. hard to explain.

  • This film is set in Canada? (I cannot remember) But I know that alot of Canada is still mountainous.

  • @Laureniva12 They are supposed to be Inuit, so yes somewhere in Alaska, Canada, or Greenland .

  • @Axadn not Greenland XD there is only ice in Greenland ;)

  • i wish i lived back then, side by side with nature. i love animals and all life. i just wish i could have lived then

  • i have this song on my ipod :P

  • just tie it up..nyaaa

  • i wish i could have grown up in this time. now everything has changed. i know nothing of my culture. i can't even speek my own language

  • this is my favorite song from this movie

  • Man and nature lived side by side. I wish </3

  • nice song

  • although i like the english version, i just love the danish version because of the singers voice:D

  • This song actually makes me cry... When the earth was so beautiful.. But now look at what weve done it it, destroyed a beautiful planet! With all this war and so much hate... God will be looking down shaking his head..

  • i love brother bear i want a totem of the bear of love and i feel younger watching the movie

  • This make me so freakin' happy! :')

  • The french version is better than this one!!

  • i belive in spirits my self, so hearing this song makes me very happy... The greats spirits have not be forgotten. thank you.

  • I've always been proud of my Native American heritage, but this made me even prouder!

  • @kurokatana101 This is actually Inuit ^^;

  • sorry to say that is sounds so much better in danish! :)

  • 2:51 Yeah, he's sooo ready to be a man

  • @assassintwinat8 XD lol

  • There should be more movies like this one. :)

  • I would love to see the earth during this time, before we destroyed it.

  • @Zeck180

I know! There are sooo many cities where all of this beutiful nature could`ve been! & now we`re going & destroying the RAINFORSTS! COME ON PEOPLE!! WE HAVE ENOUGH CITY ALREADY!!! AND WHY NOT LIVE IN THE COUNTRY IF THERE`S NO ROOM IN THE GOD DAMN CITY!!!!!!>:( Now I`m pissed....VERY pissed

  • @Zeck180 its never to late there are still some wonderful places left to see in the world in the next 10 years they will sadly be destroyed :(

  • I think brother bear is underestimted, I absolutely love songs outta this movie as much as all the rest Disney Classics, especially this one :)

  • Who is the voice of Kenai it sounds familiar?

  • @monkeys77able1

    Its Joaquine Pheonix

  • @monkeys77able1

    Its Joaquine Phoenix

  • The transformation scene has the BEST music in the entire movie!

Followed by On My Way, then this song :P (Just my opinion)

  • Simply beautiful.

  • Love it, I wonder what part of the world they're showing here? I was thinking somewhere in Canada b/c first nations are so important there, so maybe in the Alberta-Rocky Mountain range?

  • @tswath99 I always thought that the movie was set in Alaska or the Yukon. I could be wrong though....

  • @TLKMulan Most likely Canada or Alaska

  • This makes me really wanna fight pollution. look how beautiful it is!! :)

  • look it doesnt matter who we worship we are all ONE ya got that?

  • its a shame that so many of the great disney movies have horrible follow up stories. very few of the disney sequels r good i can only think of a few bro bear 2 is not one of them

  • @john146only looked, before you critisize me for my spelling

  • @john146only WOW, I LOKKD AT UR CHANNEL, AND A BIT SELF ABSORBED MUCH, I MEAN REALY, WHO HAS A COMMENT SECTION COMPLETELY FILLD SO OTHERS CANT LEAVE A COMMENT, GROW UP, YES GOD IS THE SAVEIOR OF THE WORLD, BUT THERE IS SUCH A THING AS A SOUL, WHO ON THIS PLANET IS TO SAY THAT A SPIRIT GUIDE IS EVIL, TO ME IT REPRESENTS MY SOUL, HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT, OH AND BTW, IM CURIOUS TO KNOW UR VIEWS ON THE WBC. IF YOU SUPPORT THEM, THEN DONT CALL URSELF A CHRISTIAN, EVER.

  • @john146only OH AND ANOTHER THING, HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF FIRST NATION, ITS A BAND OF NATIVE AMERICANS THAT ARE CHRISTIANS, BUT LIKE TO CONTINUE THEIR CULTURE, I SAW THEM AT URBANA 03, ONE OF THE LARGEST CHRISTION CONFERENCES THAT IS HELD EVERY 3 YEARS, AND GUESS WHAT, WE SANG NATIVE CHRISTIAN MUSIC, UR ARGUMENTS ARE A JOKE, KNOCK IT OFF, IF YOU DONT LIKE A VID HERES AN IDEA... DONT FUCKING COMMENT AND MOVE ALONG.

  • @john146only OOH OOH CAN I GET IN ON THIS TOO, OK FIRST OFF, DONT FUCKING DISRESPECT NATIVE AMERICANS, THEY HAVE BEEN THROUGH HELL WITH LIFE, HMM SOUNDS LIKE ANOTHER GROUP OF PEOPLE, HMM NOW WHO COULD THAT BE, OH YEH THE JEWISH, STOP MAKEING IT SOUND AS THOUGH YOUR HIGH AND MIGHTY, IM A TRUE CHRISTIAN, AND GUESS WHAT, I HAVE A SPIRIT GUIDE, IT IS A PURE WHITE WOLF, SO THE ILCONCIEVED NOTION THAT YOU CANT BELIEVE IN BOTH GOD AND SPIRIT GUIDS IS A JOKE

  • does tina turner sing this?? its a cool song :) thanks for posting

  • i am so sad this story sad i love it but is So nice i see this umm 82 and i again it :) i love it

  • @john146only like:carl, pocahontas,belle,cinderella,tiana,stich,aladdin ,wall-e,woody,buzz,mickey mouse,todd,samba,Hercules,ariel,kenai,nemo,marlin,quadsimodo,

  • @john146only , they taught us about the spirits of the earth the ancestors and they taught us REALITY!! ,the point is Disney is has TAUGHT us and influenced us to dream and believe and enjoy life and not to worry about every single little thing and to be strong and still be standing in life no matter what happens!!!! they taught us to be like the role models of the characters in the movies

  • @john146only they taught us that beauty is in the real inside, they taught us to follow and pursue our dreams and let nothing stop us, they taught us about our imagination and how wild it could be, they taught us that life is not a spectating sport, they taught us to keep moving forward and let our imagination lead us because imagination leads to creativy and also curiousity, they taught us that there’s is no place like home,

  • @john146only ur saying as if this is a bad thing!! Disney has taught us over the years to wish upon a star and to dream we could fly and toys move when we are not present, monsters in our closets, hakuna matta, how to let go of the past, they taught us to see with our hearts they taught us to us dream and how dreams come true by working hard ,they taught us OHANA and how family is important, they taught us about being honest,

  • @john146only Christianity is still very young, between the corruptions of the church, branching religions, and constant translations the Bible is far from its original state, and immeasurable in how correct the texts are in translation, while the concept of spirits and the Earth mother have existed well over Christianity era in both Eastern and Western beliefs. No matter what you believe to be true, your right to discredit is false, for the only ones who can prove what is what are already dead.

  • This is my cure for depression. xxx

  • This movie always makes me feel like a child all over again. ^_^ No matter how old I get.

  • @ShadowClaw92 They just don't make movies like this anymore. I'm with you it makes me feel like a little kid again. ^_^

  • @ShadowClaw92 That's how Disney works

  • Tannana Is a Freaking Ninja

  • @finnfiah42 Shese an Old Swift Grandmother Ninja

  • wow, I love this movie so much it is my favorite movie ever in the history of everness

  • This issue comes down to key factors that you all have missed. You're arguments have no back ups, thus making them week. Firstly, the choice of religion is personal, and though it is true that one has to look at many varieties of religion to understand and make a good choice, they also have to be decisive. If you try to mesh many beliefs together you have no standard belief by which to stand by, this making you susceptible to loss of moral direction. Without a definitive set of moral absolutes

  • @john146only This discussion comes down to Bible views. Your interpretation is that God is a supreme being who watches over us, which is perfectly reasonable. However, there are alternate views that work too. You say humans can't understand the majesty of anything beyond ourselves, but Native Americans did: they took care of Creation, and cared for each other. God is in everything, even nature and other people, and by worshiping nature and caring for others, Native Americans were worshiping God.

  • @mastelbandgeek yes exactly im catholic and i belive in god and all these saints and jesus chrits but god is in nature, animals, humans als well to test us and to be with us god is so big and great (so im told in my religion) but hey ppl enough with religion and @john146only started everything plz john lets just enjoy this awesome song!! we all have our perspectives and the pnt is that disney is the one of the greatest thing that has taught us well

  • @john146only Good for you but I believe Christ was a human man who lived 2,000 years ago. I do not believe he was the son of God and I do not believe he wrote the bible. I think he was a flawed, charismatic, historically significant person that inspired men a several hundred years later to write a book that has been edited over the past 1500 year past the point of recognition. I do not worship Christ in any way, shape, or form and will not force a belief system I feel to be flawed on her.

  • @john146only I certainly don't plan to shove a flawed book down my kids throat and tell her this is the only way to believe deal with it. There are hundreds of different religions and belief systems throughout the world and they all claim to be the only right one. Spirituality is a personal choice, the only way you are free to make that choice is if you have knowledge beyond a fire and brimstone Christian god and his warped fan club.

  • this singer kinda reminds me of the singer in the Circle of Life from The Lion King....anyone?

  • @john146only Didn't the Mother Earth came from European ideas?

I am not being dishonest, I am just telling you what some of my friends, who are native american themselves, told me about their people's ideas. I am saying that their culture, in a christian form, is pretty beautiful. I heard "Amazing Grace" sang in Cherokee and . . . . . it was beautiful.

I know that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the light.

  • @john146only It's sir and sorry, I need to use a different terminology. I mean as a good christian. They talk about not abusing natural resources, being kind to one another, know that there are super-natural things at work, etc.

I know that there are Native American ideas that aren't Christian-like, but I have met Native Americans who became Christians and they have such beautiful faith.

  • @john146only For it is through Jesus we can come to God and have a great relationship with him. He rejoices when you dance and sing for him (whether in European or Native American style).

And I know that they can be great Christians because I have friends who are of Native American-ish and I had a step-mom who is one and she is beautiful and like a perfect Christian.

  • @john146only No, they honor the Earth and the Great Spirit is God. We Christians don't worship just Jesus alone, we worship the Trinity: Father God, Jesus the son, and the Holy Spirit. It's that through Jesus' sacrifice for our sins is what we accept and honor. I mean that one can be culturally Native American and religiously Christian and this can make them into great Christians. The way I see it, culture and religion are like knowledge and wisdom.

  • @john146only Great, a nutjob who thinks anyone who doesn't think ONE WAY ONLY in getting to heaven. You people make me and the entire religion of Christianity look like fools. Intolerance is the way of the Middle Ages and I am SICK of being associated with people who refuse to see any other viewpoint than their own. >|

  • @john146only Yes, because learning about other belief systems outside of Christianity IS SO ~HORRIBLE~, OMG, SOMEONE CALL TEH POLICE!!1!eleventy!

Personally, I love learning about other cultures and peoples. I just wish they were brought up in more modern contexts rather than treating Native Americans and pretty much all non-Western cultures like relics of the past. :V

  • @Caterfree10 Well, on a personal note, I think Native American Christians can really be possibly the best kinds of Christians around. There's even a book that states it called "One Church, Many Tribes".

  • The mountains still kiss the sky... i think they are higher now than in earlier days... And another mistake is earth wasn't much younger then than it is now...

Imagine: earth's beginning starts on 1 januari, that means that humans would come around 31 december the same year... just in time for the fritters! So the earth wasn't young anymore at all!! Seen on earth's time scale it's almost just as old now.

  • Is there suck totem as the Wolf of Courage? I know there is because I saw Link transform into a wolf (and he has the Triforce of Courage as well.)

  • I love this song and movie. I love the different spiritual themes in some Disney films. Who's to say the great one above us is just one being, or that that being is even a male? Whatever face or gender you put to that mighty being, we are all watched over by someone, and we should be untied because of that, not divided by it. No god(s)/goddess(es)/ancestors would want to see us fighting in their name. Look at the way Sitka appears in the Northern Lights later in the movie.

  • I appreciate the spiritual themes in Disney movies. I think it's important for my daughter to be exposed to as many different religious and spiritual themes as possible. I'm not religious at all but I am a bit spiritual but I don't think any one belief system or sect is right and it will only benefit my daughter in the long run to learn what else is out there.

  • @john146only True. There's alot of spiritual themes in cartoons nowadays. But the thing is, lots of them are fantasy, lots of what ifs, ancient beliefs and customs that are now considered as myths and are therefore not real. Just like 3 major religions of present day. Kids have better things to do than be afraid of some imaginary father figure in the sky.

  • "How about a Mamouth, for your fat head?"

  • At 1:25 and 1:24 you can see Nemo. He is there right when the mammoth breaks their net. No joke.

  • Lilo from Lilo and Stitch at 3:10 and Finding Nemo at 1:26 (look at the bottom middle fish). Disney used characters from previous movies. Dunno why. Maybe to see if you notice.

  • @Sangrie1 lol you saw that too, well its a fact that disney recycles charetures, look at the part in tarzan when the gorillas are wreking the camp, and youl see mrs potts, and chip from beauty and the beast, also in the movie hurkulies i know i spelld it wrong lol, but watch the part when he puts on the lion pelt, notice the scar on the eye, looks like scar was done in good by the hyenas lol

  • Disney is supposed to be for all ages! What made them change to 8-12 year-old stuff??? >.>

This movie is amazing and became my favourite the first time I saw it :D

The plot and meaning makes it an epic movie, and it deserves more recognition.

  • <3 it

  • lol i keep comparing this to the danish version which i love the most. But both versions are good. (:

  • The girl at 3:20 isn't that Lilo from Lilo & Stick?

  • @shahamel The two movies were made around the same time (in the bloopers, Kenai almost spears Stitch instead of a squirrel), and this was made when Disney was still good, so it's possible Lilo also made a cameo.

  • Is the girl at 3:20 not Lilo from Lilo & Stich?

  • @SuperBowserLindi85 exactermondo ^^

  • @1603JazzyBee They don't make movies like this anymore.

  • @ztslovebird so true , so true

  • @1603JazzyBee yeah and i agree with u man, my youngest bros think that disney today good but they should have seen it when i was a kid it was more appropriate and better than the pos shows today.

  • @1603JazzyBee Princess and the Frog was good, though. :)

  • @1603JazzyBee I consider it two diferent companies (in my mind) bcuz if i tell myself is the same old disney that is making this crappy movies i begin to cry in dissapointment and especially when i see the classics!! so i just consider it two diferent things

  • I LOVE this song

    tina is the best

  • the last of the truly great disney movies

  • Listen Youtube why is my video wasn't running

  • Kenai's hair stands up like it does in the On My Way song, at about 1:57 to 2:00 in this video. Except he is seen as human here, and a bear in the On My Way song.

  • Chino is right haha its hard to pause it on that exact moments though

  • at 1:25, there is Nemo in the net... you need to pause it right as the mammoth hits the net

  • haha, I did'nt knew that! Cool, man ;D
