  • Ummm what the heck, I never talk like that and I am from Canada. Btw it is pronounced "process" pr-AW-cess.

  • @Scoutrooper98 He was probably in Ontario, it is ok there are only a few of us that haven't been infected yet. I am glad to say that I am one of them. I will talk TOMORROW, I dont want to fight AGAINST you, however I know the correct PROCESS, anyway have you BEEN good?

  • I don't know where in canada u went but we don't talk like that where I'm from... We just swear a lot

  • out and about sounds like norfolk dialec from england

  • For me the most obvious difference is with the "again" word. It's all good anyway. As a French-Canadien I'm sure my accent is more unsettling for everyone. :P

  • I don't say bean. I say bin.

But it's okay, because I still say 3/4 Canadianly.

    Canada! <3

  • well I think most people say process either way, I know I do - I dont think about it and I never say "bin" or "bean" its some vowel in between

  • haha Is so funny you guys are giving opinions about the English accent in different countries..oh God I am Latino trying to learn to speak English correctly but after watching these videos believe me I feel like I have been learning nothing hahahaha, so funny, how can I go for it? anyways I think I just..m ok whatever hahahahaha

  • hahah you musta been on the east coast, am I right?

  • @breakurbones

or Kimberley BC LMAO!! A lot of people I speak to from there actually do say "hey" (not eh) at the end of every 2 sentences

  • i was born and raised in canada and we deffinatly do not sounds like that...jus sayin

  • Fail! Ur video ended while u were still talking... -___-

  • why do you always look surprised ?

  • ROFL. I said every word he said before he said them like a Canadian. And i said everyword the same like a Canadian <3

  • there are no desserts in Canada. MUAHAHAHAHA

  • @JoshKnightmare No desserts? Sounds like a pretty healthy country.

  • Canada uses the metric system along with the rest of the world, but the U.S of A still uses the imperial system; makes you wonder who foreigners will side with.

  • @Aurochhunter HAHA yeah, except how tall are we and how much do we weigh, and what temperature do we bake a cake at? And what temperature is the pool or my fever. It's messed up man... I wish we'd just pick one and stick to it.

  • green been

  • This guy's an ass and everything but he's got some sexy ass lips! lol

  • wtf this is so stupid!

  • first of all, we do not say AGAI-NST we say against, second, we say process, we do not say PRO-CESS, third, yes because we all wanna walk around saying SEE YOU TOMOOROW! no. and last, WTF did you get BEEN from BEN!?

  • Comment removed

  • I say process both ways without thinking about it. Prob because in Canada we get exposed to alot of American tv, movies etc. It's a subconscious thing.

  • I am a Proud Canadian! And I do say Against and Been like that but Tomorrow is more like Tomarrow haha

  • I'm french and I can say : SHUT THE FUCK UP !

  • haha sounds like a guy i know at work

  • This guy doesn't blink.

  • dude! u calling me AMERICAN!?!?!?!?!

  • i never been there before

  • My girlfriend is canadian And I love to bother her about this typical stuff hahahaha

    America All The Way :)

  • You scare me :(

  • I don't think you dislike or hate newfoundland/mainlanders (Nova Socitians talk similar sometimes) way of speaking, but you are generalizing all Canadians way of speaking to those of the east coast. All Americans do not speak in a southern redneck accent, same with Canada and the east coast. Newifies say "tree" instead of "three" but not us on the west coast! You shouldn't be so vauge, my countrymen do not speak in this way from Manitoba to British Columbia. Ontari-ans? speak different also!

  • This is a total *face-palm* moment dude.

  • ... I'm Canadian and what u just said is total bull. You must be very confused, cuz wherever ur living, it aint in Canada dude -.-

  • I wanna punch this guy in the face

  • kid your a flaming homosexual, process is correct stop exadurating canadians are talking correct english americans talk lazy fat people mcdicks chowing lazyness guns or guuuhhnnns? explane that one.

  • You're funny bruh... haha

  • Canadian's do pronounce 'out and 'about' differently (The one's with that specific accent). It isn't 'aboot' like a typical American would say, it's more like 'aboat'.

  • @PunkRockerJ7 not all canadians are newfies ya tool

  • @trevortes I wasn't saying all Canadians are fucking newfies. I was saying the ones with the accent say it that specific way. Now stop trying to be a smart ass idiot. I'm Canadian myself so I think I would know.

  • @PunkRockerJ7 You said:Canadian's do pronounce 'out and 'about' differently, so you may not have meant all canadians but that's how it came across in your context, also a smart ass idiot is a confusing concept.

  • I hate you.

  • you introduce that so funny way dude! :D

  • LISTEN PEOPLE. Canada is a huge country we don't have just ONE accent. Just like america has southern accents, NY accents, jersey accents ect. so does Canada. People from Toronto probably have the closest to an american accent. I'd say its like... NYC meets Cleveland or the midwest. BIGGUP TDOT BOM BOM!

  • I'm canadian and i don't say any of these things, neither does anyone I know :P he must have spent his time in Newfoundland hahaha

  • u forgot CAAAAAAARRRR AND KAAARREEE

  • bullshit.

  • this is true but not with all canadians, those pronounciations are inherant to a french canadian accent, just as the long oo sound of aboot is a newfie (newfoundlander) accent. when you went to canada you probably stayed in ontaio. the canadian accent here in the west is simmilar to amrican english with slightly softer sounds, barely knoticable by most people until you get a group of us together. and i use the term american english lightly sincea newyorker speaks quite diffrently form a texan

  • @onlyhuman351, naw people here in Ontario still don't sound like that. There isn't really a discernible accent for most people. Other than hicks. But Ontario hicks don't really sound very different from people with similar accents from out west that I've known. And there are people from virtually every enclave of Canada in Toronto so accents run the gamut over here. Only people I've noticed that sound like the dude in the video are maybe east coasters.

  • I'm Canadian and this is true.

  • haha youre funny

  • canadians cannot hear there own accent, point it out to um and they dont believe you. I really do think they cannot tell they stress different syllables and there 'ou's sound like 'oo's

  • Bahaha so true my boyfriend is from Canada and he talks like that.

  • That's what TV's taught me. My country fails at teaching about other countries . . .

  • We arnt indian

  • true.

  • He's an ass and all but he's got some sexy ass lips! lol

  • we both pronounce everything wrong because we don't speak in british accents

  • @Pulpgimp all three countries speak different languages numb nuts

  • it sounded asian to me :S

  • Why didn't he just say that you can tell a Canadian from an American by their superior grasp of the English Language?

  • fagget >_>

  • The fifth word about->aboot

  • I've only ever heard an American say process as you do. Everyone else is correct. American English is that retarded clone of British English, it's all beat up and twisted for some unknown reason.

  • Er...we do say "bin" for been, but "bean" is how it's actually pronounced. Same with against. It's not "agenst"

  • @HarveyYu7 No I agree with this... Im from Alberta and live in British Columbia and I hear what he is saying

  • im american and i think some canadians talk like that.but your over-exaggerating it alot. i think us americans tend to use more slang or maybe its just were im from.

  • he's a jackass but he's right!

  • I say "tomorrow" like that, because I don't want to be an idiot and say "tomarrow".

However, I do say those other words like you do.

Americans say "shurr" for "sure", I say "shure". For "out" Americans say "AOt", while I say "out".

In my part of Canada, we have a mix of Scottish accents, so it sounds like we are trying to be tough. But we have the softness of British English.

  • wtf

  • what the hell are you saying

  • im canadian.. and i dont do those accents. you are fuckin retarded.. lol

  • This one of the better videos explaining the accent difference.

    P.S. It's PRO-CESS not PRAW-CESS you Americans!

  • sorry = soary

  • It sounds like Brazilian english hahah :P

  • I'm Canadian and I do not pronounce these words like that..

  • That "against" is technically the right way to pronounce that word even in American English.

  • Americans invented our accent I see..I MUST LEARN THIS!

  • @HarveyYu7 THANK YOU!! I live in Canada too, and no Canadian sounds like that....

  • Im canadiann and first of all i never say been, like that,i dont say aboot, instead of about, i dont scream when i talk,we say process the exact same way you guys do, so thats complete bull.

  • i didn't know Canadians scream their words XD

  • Ummm I'm from Canada and I don't scream.. LMAO

  • Canadians say eh? Alot but we don't scream... Plus we have better grammar

  • I'm a canaidian and I sound nothing like that

  • @prabhuland I'm Danish and I want to speak with Canadian accent.. but I actualy can't tell the main difference between the Canadian and American accent. Like people in Toronto, Ottawa and British Columbia sound more like the Americans.. sometimes I hear that 'abowt sound but sometimes I hear Canadians saying 'abawt' like the Americans.. so do the Ontario and British Columbian people talk more like the Americans or is there a difference?

  • @Anden14 The guy in this video is full of shit. I am from BC and I could go travel anywhere the west coast of the US and nobody would even question where I was from. There is no accent. Danish accents sound pretty awesome though

  • @3510211 on the west coast*

  • @3510211 Okay. Thank you.

  • I don't SCREAM! when I TALK!

  • As a Canadian, I can tell you that we're pretty much the same as Americans in most ways, other than variations of spelling. We were both British settled colonies, both integrated much more closely with other cultures than Britain and have very intertwined politics. The accent is virtually undetectable in casual speaking.

  • this video is pretty much my all time favorite video.

  • lol fkin fag

  • bah. Thats all eastern canada

  • The ABOOT and OWUUT accents are from out east by nova scotia and newfoundland because of irish settlers they almost sound irish :P

  • So, basically you're saying Canadians speak correctly and Americans do not?

  • @realbadbav somewhat lol!.

  • *grammar.

  • im from quebec and i've traveled across both ends of Canada, yet I don't think i've ever heard Canadiens say that at all..

The best way to differ canadiens is cause we say 'Eh?' Alot... =P

We also say grade before the year of school, IE: Grade 12. Americans say the number before 'Grade'. IE: 12th Grade.

  • Hahah I'm Canadian and I was thinking I'd be offended... but naah, that's so true. Good job.

  • They also say "sorry" weird. And "eh" a lot:p I have a slight canadian accent.

  • hey! im canadian and literally no one says anything like that. well, from i come from anyway. could be from different partsof canada. i guess it all depends on where abouts in canada you were

  • canadian accent sounds softer than the american accent ;)

  • lol the only one that was true was "against" but thats just how i pronounce it..

  • im from canada, and the only way you can tell someone is canadian is when they EH? i say it all the time :)

  • your a fuckin fagget

  • I know someone is Canadian when they say the words "sorry" and "house"

  • I'm an American and I pronounce tomorrow the way you did in the video. Must not be true. :P

  • canadians aren't that loud

  • fuck you

  • YOU GOT SOME BIG ASS EYE BALLS EH?

  • @Zimknee i just LMFAO'D at that, hahahah

  • I'm from Canada. I have never said "Oot and a Boot".... I mean what the fuck. Who the would say that? Your entire video is incorrect. I don't know what fucking part of Canada you were in, but as far as I am concerned you are a fucking idiot moron.

  • @MAMAMA842 There's many accents in Canada, just because yours doesn't sound like that doesn't mean others don't as well. I'm guessing you've never heard a Newfoundland accent.

  • im canadian and i agree with process and been

  • im Canadian i dont eat syrup i dont play hockey i dont live in an igloo i dont say eh i dont were plaid jackets and i dont were Eskimo furry hats. but i am Canadian. Eh?

  • @HarveyYu7

It depends where in Canada you live. There are different accents, obviously. My Canadian friend says these words like in the video.

  • Yeah....... Ummm. We don't talk like that. Yes I have heard people say it like that. But it's not like we say it like that all the time!! It like if you say "I'm going to the dentist" it might be that the "to" is pronounced like the number "two," or it might sound like "tuh". Us Canadians aren't foreign creatures, we're just like everyone else.

  • ok then eh

  • This idiot doesn't know anything about how we Canadians speak. I'll give you the "aGAINst" pronunciation of that word is the way we say it but it is the right way of saying the word in the first place you stupid fucking american.

  • @AlboTiger7 Hey , chill dude ! Words are Words are Words ! EVERY Individual pronounces Words DIFFERENTLY ! There`s NO REAL Right or Wrong Way to pronounce A Word ! Yes , Words DO HAVE Official Pronunciations in The Dictionary BUT that`s for Convenience MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE ! Like , I`m Californian ! I tend to say Words that end with A " Y " with An " Ay " Sound ! Like " Totallay " !

  • I'm Canadian and this is so true! Except you forgot one word: route. Canadians say root and Americans say r-out…

  • So inaccurate but I lmao'd

  • actually i have to say im from usa yet canadian's english is alot better then usa's is gettin

  • @rockfan2345 Canadian grammar is better "than" American grammer.

  • @culliganator very true

  • I'm from Canada and I Talk a little like that but not a lot.

  • im from canada and we do not talk like that!

  • You're doing a First Nations accent. I don't talk like that. :)

  • @missystephi I am a First Nation and I do not talk like that and neither do any First Nations I know

  • actually i think this is really funny, haha

  • Canadian's do NOT talk like that unless they are really really really really Canadian, and honestly I don't know anyone who speaks like that. We speak exactly like you Americans but if you want to tell when someone is Canadian.. American's say Excuse me, and Canadians usually say Sorry. Again this doesn't happen all the time but it's a better way to tell than this.

  • @INDERANMOL that doesn't really work. different parts of the States use different terms. I'm in Cinci, Ohio and we say "Sorry?" instead of "Excuse me?" same concept as much of the States use the term "soda" and "chili dog", ask a Cincinnatian for a soda or chili dog and you will probably get a WTF?! look ha. we call 'em "pop" and "cheese coneys" yes, we put actual shredded cheese on our "chili dogs". its better off that way, eh. (couldnt resist ;p)

  • Holy crap you lookso much like a friend of mine.

  • Mate, that's really offensive.

  • 'House' is also a word you can tell if someone's Canadian :)

  • i wanna punch this guy in the face

  • youre so wrong.. let me guess you're an ignorant american... thats just how you properly pronounce those words smart person ;)

  • @alwayssnneverr13 not all americans are ignorant D: - some are but not all-

  • lol! that sounded........Not Canadian!

  • XD Nobody says those things.

  • We pronounce those words exactly the same as you..

  • stfu

I say all those words the same.

  • UMMM you sir saying this is like me saying that say curtains right.

  • @booklover12381 I mean you guys cant say curtains right

  • I'm Canadian and firstly, I have NEVER heard anyone say "oot" and "aboot". Secondly, the only people who say PRO-jects or Ag-AINST are the ones more influenced by the British accent. I talk exactly like you man.

  • why do american's hate canadian i just dont get it i think canadians are cool people

  • Fk Canada!

  • My siblings and I laughed at this... They were born and raised in Canada and I was born in north Carolina, but we do day tomorro and eh' alot like that, people at school say I sound weird.

  • I can always tell if someones American or Canadian; Personally I prefer the way Canadians speak, just sounds good but that's just my opinion:)

  • i dont talk like that

  • lol i just moved up here from florida and they really do have an accent, the girls love my accent (didn't know i had one) but almost everyone here has this accent and they don't realize it lol.....and idk if you noticed this but a lot of the younger kids will talk in a jamaican style accent but won't be jamaican or black lmao it's extremely weird.

  • srry dude, didn't know i was Indian, ill get right on that...

  • no... that's wrong, man.. sorry. I'm Canadian, btw.

But THANK YOU for dispelling the "oout" and "aboot" stereotypes

  • I definately say Against with a strong A sound.... and am Canadian

  • Congratulations! You just made all Americans look like complete retards.

  • i agree with process the rest i have no idea where the f you were in canada, but i've never heard that.

  • Im Canadian and dont have an accent, :P

  • The Canadian accent is all about the letter R. Canadians tend to pronounce it like pirates. I didn't realize it until I left Canada for a while.

  • ur against was funny.. but still.. please dont insult canadians dude.... ....

  • despite all the negative comments, i must say your lips are very sexual..

  • Comment removed

  • now the canadians will start to practice on the 4....but nice

  • i thought canadians speak just like plain ol' american?

  • LOOOL I'm an Aussie Canadian, lol it's kinda messed up o.O

  • actually guys i do say those words like that... although i don't put the insane emphasis on them like this guy

  • I love all these Canadians getting pissed. It's just a joke. You do kind of sound like that, but this is an extreme exaggeration.

  • Your eyes pop out.................O.O

  • I say been like bin, again like a-gen, and against like a-genst. Tomorrow I do say it likw 2-more-oh...but process...um...I say BOTH ways...(depending on the context.
