  • Can anyone give me a link to a Site where i can buy The Daemon Bikes kit? Been looking for a good while now and cant find it anywhere :(

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks for the tutorial.. very helpful

  • are these good motors

  • Locktight the nuts...problem solved

  • Hi timmy , Nice vid, best i have seen so far most excenllent as we say old school

  • put rubber between the frame and motor mount

  • gresy hands allways with gruby dont put the tool box up lol

  • i like to use inner tube rubber for the wraping of the frame before motor mount goes on it will scratch the heck out of the paint if u dont use rubber to insulate

  • will it fit on a scwinn occ chopper? or will this i=only fit an 26" bike

  • @ultrabeastmode It will fit, but with difficulty. You need to design custom mounts for the engine/gas tank.

  • Well done my man!

  • Hi, how is the engine working right now? Still functional? I plan on getting one soon and I'm curious about how long they last. Thanks

  • If you go to gasbike.net you will find some awsome stuff!!!

  • do you need to install hand break set and if you do were can i find the rim for the breaks

  • Great explanation !!

  • @fredrosario Thanks!

  • will this mount onto a 24 inch schwinn ?

  • if i needed to buy another chain cause i screwed up could i just use a regular bicycle chain? if not what kind would i get?and do i have to put on the chain tensioner or is it only if your chain is not tight enough because when i put my chain tensioner on it make the chain rub against the tire.

  • @8787cole Thanks haha and hit up ebay for an extra chain. If the chain stays on without the tensioner then go for it!

  • @RCexperimental

    got the chain on

    Winning!

  • Timmy is the man! haha.couldn't have put my kit together without this video.

  • thanks man really helpful

  • @themodmancarl Thanks

  • @RCexperimental Are there any Engines that would fit on an adults racing bike frame? Thanks please respond.

  • i watched this whole fucking video and i dont even own one of these ffs

  • how well do these things handle hills without a shift kit, i weigh 160 lbs and it would be on your typical cruiser style bike

  • how much did all of those cost

  • grinding the chain links for removal? Get a chain pin tool from a bicycle shop..................

  • @flaminrota These are huge ass chains and don't fit into a pin tool

  • @RCexperimental Buy a bigger one! They realy exist!

  • @flaminrota tried it does NOT work.

  • One kit to rule them all. No really. All these motors are the same.

  • put a turbo on it.

  • Could if used a chain breaker...it would of been faster duh

  • Thats the same engine as the chepa chinese one i got, the difference is just a lousy sticker saying daemon bikes. and i think theyve put a pod filter on it too tahts all, pretty lousy IMO.

  • This is better then MotorVelo site cool vid dude should it watch this before lol.

  • what kind of bicycle is that, where can I get one. Its like the perfect model for a motor build

  • how fast would that thing go if a 170 pund person was on it

  • @techstuff76 50 stock, up to 80 if you upgraded parts and got a shift kit

  • @RCexperimental thanks!

  • @RCexperimental

it will not go 50 stock, thats such an exaggeration it will go 30 stock and the engine will be vibrating alot too

  • @madbasementlab could be 50 KPH, not Mph

  • @RCexperimental you better be talking KPH

  • @alexsuchapimp No dude. Miles obviously, thats why highway vehicles all have 80cc engines.

  • @RCexperimental This post makes no sense. These motors will only do 50 mph with every upgrade imaginable plus running methanol/nitrometh. Also, what highway vehicle uses a 80cc engine?

  • @techstuff76 32.895 mph with 13mph wind from the east with 92 deg outside temps and 80% humidity..

  • can u use an old bmx bike for this

  • You will definitely need a Dremel. You might have to manufacture some of your own parts. A hammer is also necessary if the parts won't line up. Most of this stuff comes from China, don't be afraid to beat on it if you can't line stuff up. (no - just kidding) Some bikes won't work. Be sure to watch lots of videos before buying a kit. or just get a different bike frame.

  • Speak up kid,be a man and quit mumbling.

  • is there any problem to use bigger bike???

  • Hey can you do this with a mountain bike I have 1 and I don't want to spend more money to get a new bike to put a motor on

  • This is a great video. I've been thinking about converting my bike and your video gives me the confidence that I'll be able to do it.

  • Very well explained. :)

  • Nerduselige87 I agree with you. can you make a video where you put the engine on a bmx?

  • Comment removed

  • hey mate, could you tell me more specifically how to wire up the coil to the kill switch. so what colour wires go to witch?

    cheers mate

  • Your video is extremely helpful. Ive watched it 5 times now and can mostlikey build it with ease.not what if you dont have a v framed bike? You can get a universal u-bracket so the motor can mount to a regular mountain bike right?

  • @likeAtractor hey man, could u be able to tell me how the coil hooks up to the killswitch?

  • Comment removed

  • 32 to 1... wtf 50 to 1 is the way to do it...

  • damn you made it look easy..i spent 6hours on this 2day and got no where....can you come fix mine for me??? hahaha

  • dude whats up with your voice?

  • Thanks couse i did it right and my friend whached a different video and did it wrong so thanks ps he did not pit the throttle on properly and much more lol

  • I bought a bike with an 80cc on it with a bad QDI. I plan on installing the engine on a much better bike and replacing the QDI when it is delivered. I will be using this video for a guide. Thanks for the clear and concise instructions !

  • where do u buy this motor?

  • why do you need to cut the chain if it comes with a tensioner?

  • I noticed you had you sprocket pointing in I did that at first and the chain rubbed the tire so I faced it out and it still looks as if it two close to the tire anyideas maby a nother rubber ring to get it to go futher out from the tire I have a drub brake on the bike I have to figure how to get that out fare enough but I just dont want the chain to rub the tire causeing a big problem latter but it might be my fram hard to tell anyides of how to get it to clear the tire

  • @mccunecp I my tire is a 26 inch wheel with drum brake. with a mountain bike tire I can use the smoth one and get more clearince might do that. but to me the mountain bike tire has more rubber.

  • Great demo! Very easy to follow you. Approximately how long does this take to complete? Are there any particular kits you recommend, i.e., which has the most reliable motor? - thanks!

  • is this off road? to u can drive it on the side walk?

  • is that had a clutch/ something dis connect the motor in the wheel while you pedal the bike?

  • This is a great video but you need to make the parts that are still shots video as well. It's very hard for a first timer to understand what's going on with just a still.

  • Is a 50cc and the 80cc motor kit the same to install?

  • what type of bike is in the video because i bought a bike that donsent fit the motor

  • since you need to have a 26 inch bike, would it be difficult to ride since i'm suppose to use an 18 inch. can the seat be lowered enough

  • you have a very boring voice lol

  • wut the mph

  • thanks so much

  • I have the same problem!

  • myn is having a problem where the motor wont move the chain by peddling its stuck! and it wont move...its impossible to peddle with motor installed.

  • is it manual?

  • You make up a lot of words

  • You should use rubber on the mounting points, wrapped around the frame. Cuts down on vibration.

  • im wondering if this kit will fit my bike it has disks on the back wher the sprokket has to go?

  • man i made 2 of these things and i always had one problem or another, they were fun but i only ended up getting like 200 miles at best out of one and then some catastrophic failure such as the engine flying off and burning my leg, when i tried to tighten it on both bike the mounts snapped, chains flew constantly, i had to make some janky adapter for the first bike to mount the engine with a socket as a spacer :D and then the throttle grip would never work just right.

  • good for you though i hope your experience with them is better than mine was....they are pretty awesome when they do work though :D

  • great video wish you would have made it in 09 when i got my motor the paper directions suck ass if your not very mechanically inclined

  • The instructions were really no help at all. this video kinda saved me :)

  • I will be doing the same win I get the money

  • Did Daemon Bikes go out of business? I can't find their website. I'd like to buy the rear sprocket and mounting hardware for a 4 wheel drive/four wheel steer pedal powered machine I'm making.

  • @MustangsTrainsMowers checkout ebay's: boygofast, or thatsdax.com i found both to be good for parts!

  • Dude where can I buy one of those engines?

  • @ostiaman11 ebay's: boygofast, or thatsdax.com i found both to be good!

  • I can't get to the web it's just sponsors

  • hey im going to get one of these kits next week,u make the assembly look so easy! i will be using this video and the manuel to build my baby, plus how far is the max i should be riding at one time,im thinking of riding from my house to work and work is downtown is about 10 kilometers is this a good idea? thx great vid buddy appreciated

  • heres a tip you should add in an annonation: make sure to use some medium strength thread locker to make sure the bolts dont come loose from those vibrations (this will save your life)

  • I noticed Daemon bikes site is down and out of service and since they are I cant aske them a question so I will ask you you might know I have a felling its the carb. But when I ride the bike it gose as if it has all the power like it sould but then it bogs down as if the choke is on but its off almost as if it going to die but it goes but slow yet idles good any ideas whey I may be losing power. but some times it goes just fine I'm thinking on a new carb the cheap sucks.

  • YOU PUT THE SPROCKET ON BACKWARDS FOOL! THATS WHY IT RUBS ON UR FRAME!

  • Thanks for a great video! I am getting ready to put a 49cc motor on my tricycle. Video helped a lot.

  • Daemon bike shut down they just cost me more money sense i need new top for my 80cc engine.seems all this type of metal does is strip and crack. So i need to buy a hole new bike engine kit and now that zoom bikes has no stalk i have to order from the u,s,a and shipping from there to Canada is about 60-80 bucks + the cost of the engine .Great another fail!

  • I just ordered this. Should be here any day now. Your video was great! I plan on using it as my install guide when the engine gets here. Have you heard of upgrades to increase the speed? If so, can you tell me what I need and where I might be able to find it? Thanks. Great video.

  • @QuinonesFamilyMedia With an expansion exhaust, performance carb and gear shifter kit, a bike with this kit can be made to go up to ~80km/h. Check out sick bike parts and motor bicycling websites

  • Soo whats the miles to a full tank on this thing?

  • @silpudog80 Around 70(ish)??

  • @RCexperimental

Someone said the sprocket was installed backwards, so should the convex side be inwards instead.

  • @silpudog80 150 mpg

  • im having some major draw back here, first of all my chain seems to be kissing the frame of the bike even after the adjuster, and secondly the throttle cable is awefully short! after barely fitting everything in the throttle is on max position. and the grip is on the start margin but the carb is fully open. any help?

    thanks in advance

  • @yourdailyguide get a new cable at walmart or sportckeck for a couple bucks and try getting a second chain tensioner and rigging it up to hold the chain off the frame

  • Great vid, helped me with a few issues that where not explained in the instructions.

  • @95yamahasho Thanks! Glad I helped :)

  • @RCexperimental I cant get the wiring right on this thing at all. it literally just doesnt start when i wire it like the manual says, but when I wire it a weird way that doesnt even make sense it starts up but stops when you pull the clutch or go too slow. You got any links for a wiring diagram? I dont care if its made with MSpaint lol.

  • @RCexperimental can you send me the link that kit

  • i installed a 80cc motor on my bike but can pedal it i very hard what can do to correct

  • @snjuan316 Check your clutch, or see if the chain is rubbing

  • thanks a million for posting this video! I'm installing my own kit on a bike ( I was just going to buy a full bike pre-built ) but I love the challenge of building things on my own, so I purchased my own kit ( a different brand ) but this video definitely helped me figure out some things I found confusing without instructions. 5/5 for the video!

  • @senses71 No problem! Glad I helped and thanks for the positive comment!!

  • nice video, did you have any trouble aligning the rear sprocket? is it fairly easy to tune the carb?

  • @maverick42190 To align the sprocket i just tightened the hell out of it and carb mods are easy check out motored bicycling (website)

  • just wondering... did you use a tank liner coating on your gas tank to prevent rusting ?

  • @JohnnyWillner I've never bothered, just used a vacuum to suck out dirt when I first get it.

  • Is there any more quite muffler?

  • @uSee218 You can make one probably.

  • I take it this kit doesn't come with a carburettor... I can't even find one on the daemon website. Also, is the chain long enough to put it on a chopper style?

  • Can u wheely this?, but dude these things are pretty sick and i imagine i wont get in trouble with one of these things on the street

  • how fast does the bike go in mph

  • where can i buy the engine?

  • niiiiice!!! seems a lil coplicated thou, is their anyway to silance the engine?

  • so i am assuming that i absolutely must drill a hole into the handle bar for the throttle? I noticed there is a little nub inside the throttle casing, is that what needs to be inserted into the hole i drill??

  • bike*

  • What kind of ike is this? It goes great with the motor.

  • @TA1522 its a beach cruser....

i prefer mountain bikes due to functionality reasons....and it will last longer because the suspension will absorb a lot of the shaking from the motor...shaking will make the bike break a lot faster...as shaking, in anything is bad...

80cc is 20-45 mph depending the user...

  • @renjixsan i meant like what brand of bike?

  • @TA1522 looks like a pantera 26 inch mens beach cruiser.

  • Thanks for all the positive comments everyone! I really appreciate it!

  • Great job guy! This will prive to be invaluable when I get my kit. Thanks!

  • @RCexperimental

dude i just got the 80cc off of daemonbikesdotcom got the Expansion Chamber Exhaust Kit with it as well. cant wait 4 more days until i have it.

  • This was a great tutorial, well done, calmly made, very complex and I wish I could pay him to make one for me lol; The video was good, but I just dont know if I could get everything done.

  • great video, very well explained, thanks for posting it. If I may offer some advise, invest in a chain tool, then you don't have to mess with a grinder or the master link.

  • thx

  • Good for you kid- as for the comment above to get a dirt bike and be a real man? Maybe this knucklehead already has a problem with being a kid and wants to annoy as many people around him- including cops- and this is where we will probably hear from him again - on COPS on Fox.

  • great vid man pretty cut and dry. I like how everything is broke down simply. And you can tell that one guy a real man isn't as good as a real ganster cause a real gangsta dont gotta flex nuts ,cause a real gangsta knows he's gott'em keep up the good work man peace

  • do you have a 26inch cruiser bike?

  • that was terrible. and no offense dude but you said some stuff totally wrong and why not just get a real dirtbike and ride like a real man

  • @psychorider13 I made a few mistakes, who doesn't. Compare this to any other install videos and tell me how it was in comparison. This was extremely low budget work and my first ever installation video.

As for a dirt bike, I don't have anywhere close to ride, and cops in town seem content to allow me to zip around on these bike which go faster than the legal top speed in town anyways. If I drove a dirt bike in town I doubt they would appreciate it.

  • @psychorider13 this is street legal and you don't have to register it

  • would it be possible to find a better muffler to put on the bike because of the bikes i've seen they get pretty loud

  • thanks you are very precise and descriptive i love how you explain things i dont have all those tools but darnit i understood what you said now the hard part going out and buying all those tools lol

thanks alot seriously i think this company i got my engine from got a little jealous of you and finally put out there own dvd i'm waiting on it now.. i'm almost home still tweaking... i'll let you know been on it all day today

  • this guy is the best guy i ever seen he tells u lots of information

  • excellent video, easily the best and most detailed guide iv'e found so far and can generally be applied as a great guide for these types of motors in general.

  • thanks a heap, i have to buy new bolts 6 of the 9 broke thats not good but im glad i havent driven it yet lol still working on it...

  • @IRONMAIDENFAN2006 Probably because i was using the built in mic on my computer instead of using an external mic and recording in a studio.

  • nice tutuorial

  • @importjunkie619 Thanks! Glad you liked it.

  • what kinda fuel do you have to use?

  • @shityourpantsful Regular gasoline mixed with 2 stroke oil.

  • im damn impressed with your professionalism .. and the way you talk to others are really caring at heart.. you amazed me lol :)

  • @SammyGeneratesCash85 Haha thanks for the kind words!

  • dude buy a chain tool for like $5 and you will not have to use a grinder to get the chain link out!

  • @wesleyjudd The chain tools you get for 5 bucks at walmart (or wherever else) are made for bicycle chains which are smaller, these chains are larger like something you would use on a motorbike. Unless you go to a motorsports store I doubt you could even find a chainbreak large enough, and if you did it would be much more than $5.

  • @RCexperimental dude i know what they are made for i am a bicycle mechanic. i also have a moterized bike that i built and i used a bicycle chain to break it apart. it may not last forever but it will get the job done and make it so you do not booger the chain up. it was just a suggestion if you wanted to save the links you take out.

  • hello, your bike good bike .. I have a doubt true that if 100% synthetic oil using less fuel and gives some strength to the engine, using semi synthetic which consumes more fuel and power varies hope your answer! Greetings

    EscucharLeer fonéticamente

  • You don't need to grind the chain links down to remove them, just buy a chain breaker ($40) it's cheeper than a grinder if you don't have either

  • Hey.. how much would a motor like this set me back?.. and how fast can and 8occ take you?... and would there be something that strong to fit into a Schwinn Stingray?.. lol, lots of questions, but would love it if you could answer all my questions... A motored bike has always been my dream, and as I'm getting older, I've had three cars, and no bike :( lol

  • @KingBlooh kits are around $160 i think, and stock you'll max out at about 55 kmh. There are a number of ways to make it go faster, get an expansion chamber, an upgraded carb, and get a gear shifting kit. You could go 70 or faster with some simple upgrades.

  • hey! i have never put together an engine before but i'm getting the hang of it i quess? but 1 major problem! how the hell (lol) do you center the sprocket so that it turns with out wobbling? again this is my first go at it. i have a nice panama jack bike love tires and a 66cc engine but i'm like lost can you help if you can please let me know im stuck and the bike is waiting on me.

  • @CixDeuce Sorry for the late reply, try tightening the bolts on the sprocket in a star formation like how you would tighten the lugnuts on a car, also make sure the bolts are VERRRRY tight.

  • @IRONMAIDENFAN2006 no daemon sells the actual 80cc and th ebearing in the enigne are better and hold up to higher rpms

  • whats up with your guys shop i placed an order and everytime i call no one answers

  • @alec246 I am not connected to the shop.... Maybe try emailing.

  • @alec246 i would back out of your order then

  • Should definitely come up with a pipe bracket with rubber grommets to help support the exhaust port and reduce vibrations in that area.. End up snapping it off one day.

  • i had to clean up the ports in mine and etc since its very bad quality castings also ported my muffler after taking the guts out and drilling bigger holes then welding the innards back in

  • @30GB What kind of HP boost did that give you? If you would be able to send me some pics and a description of how you did it, I will try it as well an
