  • you have no clue what you are talking about

  • I'm about a half an inch longer than a standard AR mag.... ;)

  • pmags are good stuff. If you don't care about the see through port on it you can get the solid mags for 11 bucks a piece during sales at botach tactical. check out the emags as well. great follower and spring, barely any feed problems

  • FUCK IT... im buying 6

  • @sandman481000 lol. Nice.

  • british army has got theses for the sa80 now and they work really well that and we have a fiew other new cool toys for the sa80 too which has helped alot too.

  • What is the mag made of, synthetic material?

  • @DrakrSlyr It is indeed synthetic.

  • Good review and good point about the combat situation when it comes to having the right magazine for the job. PMag all the way.

  • @Earley36 Thanks bud.

  • great video

  • @zazszdzfzgzhzjzkzlzx Thank you sir.

  • We sell grip kits for the 2nd gen PMAG's. Military, Law Enforcement, Firefighter and EMT personnel are eligible for a 10% discount on all orders. Check us out at maggrips dot com

  • @JCThesniper15 I'm sorry brother, I got so caught up in Reading the comments and responding that I forgot to speak my mind...... That was a very well done review, good job.

  • @stopstupidpeople. Pmag windows will not gleam in the sun and give away your position. It's a non reflective surface. That's why it's see through. And no, the brass from the rounds is not going to gleam through the window either. Ask your SF friend where 7th group HQ is? Which road? Gruber or Ardennes? What post? (Bragg). When he looks at you with a blank stare, you'll know he's full of shit.

  • aluminum doesn't rust, it corrodes. this coming from an aircraft mechanic that work on aluminum tubes with wings all day.

  • @Persocondes Which is why I said "these mags won't rust or corrode. Of course, aluminum won't rust either."

  • Problem with the window, even though it is cool, it can give up your position if the sun hits it and gleems off of it. I bought one pmag with the window, and a special forces guy clued me into the give away. Now I just buy the regular pmags.

  • @StopStupidPeople Perhaps, but for most users, that's not a problem. If you're running these in a combat zone, you probably don't want that, but for LEOs, SWAT guys, and your standard civilian users, it shouldn't be an issue.

  • What can I say, magpul makes great stuff. I just got all there DVDs and four pmags... and now I want four more just as some extra back up.

  • I have heard nothing but good reviews about PMags.

  • @aphsknight74 They really are awesome. And they don't cost an arm and a leg either.

  • @JCTheSniper15 Yeah, Less than $20 for the Mag level mags. They are outstanding. Ive seen an instance where one was Shot by a 7.62x39mm. And still fed great.

  • @alfredotp I don't know anything about the 40 rounders, so I can't say about the size differences. The length of the standard 30 round pmag is almost the same as the USGI ones. Maybe a little bit longer, but not enough to make a difference for pouches and such.

    thanks for watching!

  • How many rounds have you shot through the polymer feed lips?

  • @walkabout990 a couple hundred... give or take.

  • Hey buddy, I want to buy these pmags for a Kel-Tec SU16C. I was wondering if the two different style mags are the same thickness or is the pmag the thicker? Thanks cool video.

  • @jcainmc They're the same thickness. As far as I know the PMag will work in any rifle that accepts standard USGI mags.

  • Comment removed

  • Haha i have some of these for my airsoft m4, i love them, they are great =)

  • @iloveguns007 Yeah..... Magpul doesn't make mags for airsoft guns. I'm pretty sure you don't.

  • @JCTheSniper15 i added a video response showing my magpul pmag 30 for airsoft m4 type carbines

  • @JCTheSniper15 actually yes they do... Go look on evike.com

by the way, pmags are what I use on my AR "only" After I made a video that test a Pmag more extensively on youtibe than anyone else, I will only use pmags... Go watch it your self, I shoot the magazine, drag it behind a truck, run over it, beat it.

  • @JCTheSniper15 they actually do

  • @airsoftgunner47 Yep, you guys are right. I didn't realize they made those.

  • @JCTheSniper15 lo and its sad, cause the pts mags are more expensive then the real steel mags lol..

  • Thanks for uploading! Planning to get a bunch of these when I get my AR.

  • Excellent mags,I have 5 coming in soon.

I never had a problem with the standard mags in the Marines, but we only shot on ranges with 10 rds at a time,I was never in combat.

BTW,the Beta C mag (100 rds) works flawlessly as well.

  • I'm kind of curious about this. I've never loaded up an AR mag before. Do you know if a round can get angled down and jam up if you're about halfway done with loading your magazine?

I mean, is this really a reliability issue or not?

  • @Orthrus As long as the mag is clean inside it isn't an issue. If you get junk down in it though, then the follower can get snagged on one end, and get tilted.

  • Why would you ever push a screwdriver down a USGI mag during combat? I get the point and love pmags, but the GI's do what they do with no worries. That to me is enough to trust them.

  • Oh, come on. I'm always shoving screwdrivers in my mags.

You're right, the GI mags are fine. It was just for comparison purposes. I trust my GI mags as well, but the PMag is better. Any mag that can be ruthlessly ground into pavement by a humvee, and still shoot, I'm impressed with.
