Mac OS requires less power , because it can don't work with as much hardware or software as Windows. Over all Window is more powerful of an OS than Mac.
um if u say that dell sucks , then alienware sucks cause dell BOUGHT alienware years ago. and apple's are for work, alienware is mainly for gaming. 2 dif. categories. and apple overprices too much. alienwares run too hot. u can build your own desktop which will kill all computers for the same price or less. face it.

Actually, you can run Mac OS X on a PC. Just partition the Hard Drive and install on the other partition. Use a dual boot and there you have it. You do not even need a dual core (that is only if you want to run them side by side). And no, I am not a PC fanboy. I have both a Mac and a PC.

Alienware doesn't make laptops, they get them from Clevo and rebrand them. Same with Falcon NW, Voodoo, Sager, etc. It's all Clevo. Funny what you said about Dell... Alienware is owned by, guess who, Dell.
i did some more research and asking around on alienware.
i do know someone with both a mac and an alienware laptop, and from his experience he said after about 2 months with his alienware computer, he noticed a big decrease in the speed of his computer, but on the other hand his macbook is still runnin faster then ever. DO NOT GET ALIENWARE, ITS A JOKE!

alienware kicked macs but so hard that they ended up getting sold to dell..
and mac sales are on the incline, with apple projected to be one of the few computer companies to withstand the recession.
