  • There are 80 coal burning American plants spewing pollution that affect us here in New Brunswick Canada hey thanks for sharing eh

  • "Clean" Coal is a myth, how can it be clean if it's being burned? The total damage from burning coal would be far worse than anything wind, water, or solar energy would do to the enviroment! It's non-renewable and releases tons of CO2 (all the time) where as solar energy (for example) uses a small amount of CO2 from factories to make. SO THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS CLEAN COAL!

  • Clean coal to burn if it could be invented. What about the whole blowing the top of mountains (mountain top removal) to get the coal?

Burning coal is bad, but the method still somehow legal that is used to get coal, is almost worse.

Blow the top off a mountain to tap veins of coal, so they do not have to pay people to do it. Just trying to save a buck they blowup mountains and push the rubble into the nearby valley.

    watch?v=hgGSUfpJcOQ

  • Space-based Solar Power. The only clean energy source... Some day.

  • coal is not clean literaly its dirty to the touch! not to mention co2 emmisions + water quality damage + loss of mountains. but thats already been said, germany produces as much wind power as nebraska could potential create, its just whos paying for theese peoples campaigns

  • Clean coal is a lie.

  • Clean coal......... its just an oxymoron.

  • News Flash:

    CLEAN COAL DOESN'T EXIST!

A skunk in a silk jacket.

    Support alternative,clean energy!!!!

  • Support nuclear

  • also not very clean :(

  • How so?

    Lot's of output, little emissions.

  • lots of damage :( plutonium extracting and refining damages the environment and takes lots of energy, and like coal non-renewable. dont even get me started on the waste i live in washington where hanford is the place with all the nuclear waste spilling into the columbia river :(

  • So? Mining aluminum for windmills damages the environment. Creating the synthetic lubricant for the windmills put out TONS of CO2. Windmills are still incredibly complex, and can break. Not to mention the people that die every year to keep them going.

Also, nuclear waste is SOLID, not like in the "Simpsons." I have no problem dumping it into continent convergence zones. Where it will be turned into harmless metals by the time it resurfaces.

P.S. Plutonium is synthetic, it cannot be mined.

  • yeah you also have to mine alluminum for cooling towers or whatever metal it is, and then divert mass amounts of water from rivers. i see your point about wind turbines and solar panels also take alot of energy to create, and have toxic chemicals. what power i would advocate for is, tidal, wave, micro-hydro, methane from waste treatment plants, and landfills, along with in general reducing demand the most easy to acomplish

  • Also Nuclear requires billions of gallons of water which the west doesn't have that much of.

  • McCain is a LOT better than Obama. Obama only won, because of all the liberals. I'll bet you in a few years Obama will b more hated than Bush was! Obama is realeasing the terrorists and lwtting them live here! How messed up is that!

  • you're a wank.

  • Learn to spell, learn to read, and learn to learn.

  • Your right Angie, Barack is NO GOD...he never claimed to be. But he IS our president! So Grab some shit and start eating. HaHa!

  • Hey McCain and PalinDip...This message is one of the reasons WHY you were shitcanned! CLEAN COAL does not exist. It is a Repukian brain-fart. Goodbye you dipshits!

  • Ha, ha McSame has been terminated!!!!

  • I'm all for keeping the Republicans in the White House (I make over 250K and don't care about gay marriage or abortion), but this commercial really needs better visuals. Even if they simply made animated typography it would communicate the message better.

Please team McCain, work on better graphics!

  • gays for mccain? 250k a year? no wonder your for mccain he wont raise your taxes! taxes before civil rights wow. im a gay 4 anarchism, because there will never be equality from the two party system, which is controlled by the corporation not the people.

  • Yay! Go Prop. 8!

  • Can't McCain be sued for slander? He is out there lieing about Obama to any fool who will believe him! There are many mentally ill people in this country who believe his lies and plan to go down the drain with McCain!

  • I know I ain't votin for McCain -"- he seems like he'd be the next George Bush to me.

  • apparently to jasonsensation2110 colorado isnt an important state. another thing to hate about liberals, they dont think every state has an importance. they dont think palin is expierienced enough for vp because she's governor of alaska and they dont believe alaska is important enough. god bless america, not god damn america, McCain/Palin 08

  • Obama is Socialist! Vote for McCain!

  • right u r

  • Fuck colorado

    Obama Biden 08!!!!

  • wow you are an idiot. There are reasons for McCain and against Obama, but you choose something that is not even true, you are a fucking moron

  • Using coal helps America it has many benefits the most important it is a resource that we have. McCain will keep this country safe and that is all that matters. The obamination sucks!!! Go Colorado vote McCain.

  • All you idiots do is talk crap.

I have yet to hear what are you really going to do with the country.

  • McCain got huge donations from the oil companies. So much for the "maverick".

  • Barnabus, Obama got huge donations from Wall St.

Plus, if we overtax Exxon and other oil companies, we'll be hurting the foundations of our own infrastructure.

We need to support business and corporations in the U.S. because they supply our people with jobs. Without corporate America, we wouldn't have prosperity.

Overtaxation of business forces business out of the U.S., taking jobs with them when they go. The people of Third World countries benefit, but Americans lose out.

  • wittlesbach, Of course and thats were socialism comes in to play because that is when jobs go over seas. America will than rely on there government pushing us further into Communism the further we go into socialism.

  • i love john mccain and sarah palin. NOT obama!

  • I'll never bow down to Obama. You and I both know he is no god. :)

  • Clean COAL? LOL ISNT IT TIME TO UPGRADE THE SYSTEM THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO COME UP WITH NEW ENERGY WITHOUT BURNING ANY FOSSIL FUELS..ITS 2008 NOT 1856

  • of course Obama opposed offshore drilling and coal. this may temporarily get us out of the oil crisis, but those things will still run out. Obama plans on renewable resources that give jobs AND keep the air 100% clean. Coal still gives out pollution and it will eventually run out. We should start thinking about 50 years from now and not right at this moment.

  • Are the people whop make McCain's campaign ads even trying anymore? have they just given up?

  • Yea...because burning all this coal, clouding up our air, and adding all the mercury to our fish supply is great for America. Good job McCain. Way to learn from Bush you idiot!

  • McCain thinks the fundamentals of the economy are strong, he's as dumb as Bush.

The fundamentals of the economy are jobs and Republicans have lost jobs, for the first time in 48 years there will be less jobs created and more jobs lost after 8 years of a failed Republican White House. The deficit has been DOUBLED! McCain admits that he voted with Bush 90% of the time. Republicans should stop hiding from responsibility and own their failed record.

  • boring:(

  • geese i hope he wins

  • WTF.. there is NO such thing as clean coal! Get rid of all coal and nuclear power plants! They're BAD! We need more wind, solar, and waste-to-energy power plants!

  • Coal plants. How about stem cells research for over thousands of jobs available.

  • OBAMA 08

  • holy cow

get out of here, my photos are not whorish!

  • Shame on all Republicans! -Barrack (h) Obama is out spending John S. McCain by a margin of 3:1 in all battleground states. This, together with the bad economic situation, explains McCain's numbers in the polls. If McCain has to have a fighting chance, concerned citizens should at least make a minimum contribution to the McCain-Palin Victory 2008 compliance fund now! Its now or never! Otherwise be ready for a thugocracy under a President Obama. Go to JohnMcCain(dot)com NOW! Pennsylvania!

  • Good comment, Abujahl007! Now is the time for all conservatives and moderates to donate to the McCain/Palin campaign! Let's not go down without a fight!

  • Socialized medicine leads us to socialism. Reject the path to impotence and helplessness, and maintain America's status as the greatest country on Earth. Vote for John McCain on November 4!

    Bibi Sanchez, Class of '10

    Compton, CA

  • I, in fact, was born and raised as a republican. Then I started paying attention to what they were up to and the consequences the American public is suffering because of them. They don't care about us hard-working middle-class Americans, they just want to make sure they stay rich and keep getting richer -at our expense.

  • texasdebs, A** hole. The Dem's are far richer than the Repub's. You Americans know very little about your politicans.

  • I can't believe anyone is actually buying this.

Open up your eyes, people. Wake up. These little audio and/or video excerpts (if they are even real) are not even in their entirety, and these tiny clips are being taken out of context and mispresented purposefully just to fool you.

The only reason I can think of that anyone would vote for McCain is that they are born and raised republicans and they have not been paying attention and they have not been doing their homework.

  • I was raised a Democrat. After studying all the parties in the early 90s- I became a conservative.

Obama's pro abortion. McCain may not be the greatest, but Obama's policies will destroy this country. Anything that makes the government bigger is something I will be against.

  • ROMNEY 2012 !!!

  • Prison camps mean thousands of jobs, too.

    Does that make them okay?

Ask the survivors of the Holochaust.

    Nader Now.

McCain is too chicken to debate third-running Ralph Nader. Ask Why.

  • Nader's a moron- if you have to vote third party, Vote Bob Barr

  • are those ads only for the internet???? or are they shown on t.v as well???

  • Coutry first

  • Obama played the Sarah Palin card. Buy only saying what his views were witch may not answer a question. But he rehersed it well. Still his plans won't change a dying economy only our counrty self providing it's resources and finally changing our jobs availability will.Paying more here and less there won't do much.Since stock is going down still because of world economy.Obama has no military experience and both parties agree we are still walking into a mine field with alkida.Mccain/Palin for Pres.

  • Colorado for Obama!

  • and California

  • what the f**k is he talking about? I've never heard anybody say no coal...till this add, and it wasn't even edited well....what a sad feeble old man.

  • Then you're not paying attention, that was Biden's and D'OHbama's own words - that we won't be using coal...

Trying to hide from your own' candidate's words?

  • when the fuck will we not be using coal? within the next 40 years?...keep sucking off to that decrepid old man...developing alternitive energy is to all of our benifit....but whatever fuck the future

  • Dummy, when will solar - or any other "alternative source" of power - be a realistic replacement for fossil fuels?

50-60 years from now. How are poor people supposed to heat their homes and cook their meals between now and then? D'OHbama's smooth words don't burn well and not much good for anything else.

  • Oy, you are ignorant. Geothermal heating/cooling electric generation can come on line in large parts of the world in 1-5 years. Wind can take on a large chunk of electric generation in 1-5 years if we just get down to building it.

Efficiency/conservation can make a huge difference (approaching 50% in many sectors) literally as soon as tomorrow.

  • Geothermal is extremely limited GEOgraphically. Sure, use it where you can but don't expect to use it in large, national scale.

Wind? Are you daff? Wind plants require a fossil fuel back, constantly running at 90% capacity... Is it really worth the cost?

We can completely scrub coal exhaust, and produce bio-fuel in the process though.

  • Don't make the perfect the enemy of the good. If geothermal can supply 20% of a regions energy needs (and it probably can) then you should go for it especially since geothermal electricity can be used for both both baseload and peak power so that can back up wind power. There are numerous other option for non-geothermal regions. U R just too lazy to think of them.

CCS is still a long way off from 'cleaning' even 5% of coal exhaust. It probably won't reach that level for 10-20 years. Too late.

  • We can't completely abandon fossil fuels overnight but we need to put dwindling supplies to work building the stuff that will replace fossil fuels. If you were jobless with only $1000 in the bank then it would be pretty stupid to spend that money on movies and junk foodinstead of resumes, healthy food, and bus fare to job interviews.

  • The desperate McBush campaign stoop to lower levels each and every day.

Maybe in McBush world the economy IS fundamentally sound but in the real world it's not.

  • Why are you talking to the audience like they are children. You are catering to idiots who do not look up the full facts and it is horrible

  • yes but the front of macain goes and goes to gain ó turnip you have the craze that you are professor but in the school that you are walked there already I had walked I wake up for the life

  • okay... either my computer is messed up, or people have gone stupid and have forgotten all use of grammer.

I'm going with the second choice.

  • Well, it seems to me that Obama has the vote of the people with no grammer skills.

  • yes but the front of macain goes and goes to gain ó turnip you have the craze that you are professor but in the school that you are walked there already I had walked I wake up for the life

  • Palin is an expert on coal and oil, she knows its fungiable (John can you tell me what this means since you nodded in agreement)

She also knows the dont allocate the molecules, maybe because they are really really small!

  • Sarah Palin paling around with terrorist PUTIN. Watch "Ties between Sarah Palin and Alaska Independence Party' Google: Palin as the Treasonous Trojan Horse for the A.I.P. the Alaskan Independence Party that wants to make Alaska into its own country and sell off its oil to the highest bidder. They don't want to be a part of the UNITED States of America, but want to secede from the Union. AND THEY HAVE OUR NUKES UP THERE! Copy, spread this to everyone.

  • Well yeah. Each state has the right to secede. Infact, California could seced right now, and be just fine on its own.

But in the end, will Alaska be able to support itself?

  • John McCain and Sarah Palin understand that we must explore all kinds of solutions to our energy problems. We cannot simply continue to rely on foreign oil. But the Democrats always stand in the way of using our own resources here in the U.S. It's crazy! Vote McCain/Palin!

  • Clean coal is a lie. The mining alone is incredibly destructive. Call it cleanER coal and I might not tune you out.

The most important and cheapest source of near-term energy is simple conservation. Why isn't McCain talking more about that?

  • God is for McCain so I am sure that our God is also really happy with our country heading in the right direction of clean coal in our future!!

  • The real embarrassment is the nonsense coming out of Palin's mouth and McCain's shameless lies.

  • Yes coal can be used and limit emissions via scrubbers. It is time to utilize US energy supplies. Electric cars are great at not emitting emissions. However, the batteries put into them generate pollution to create them and recycle them. And power plants need to run on something wind and solar are not reliable enough to keep power plants running 24 hours x 7 days a week.

  • Headlines

    McCain camp leaves Michigan

He could be back, but seems to concede state to Obama

& they are going to keep Palin out of the main stream media, the republicans are running away from people!!!..I told you that a week ago keep palin from talking to the media just have her go out there wave and smile and say nothing...that is your republican party's best bet to win.

McCain will leave you when things look bleak too Colorado

  • W00t!! go clean coal!

  • twistandcrawl - ever think that perhaps her 4 kids (5th wasn't born until this year) tax credit had anything to do with it?

  • "clean" coal... no such thing, sorry.

is this ad real, what a joke!

  • Obama had 94 opportunities to side on the people's side and reduce taxes, and 94 times Obama voted to increase taxes or not support a tax reduction — 94 times.

  • 23 were against proposed tax cuts, 7 were "for measures that would have lowered taxes for many, while raising them on a relative few, either corporations or affluent individuals", 11 were to increase taxes on people making more than $1 million a year, to help fund programs such as Head Start, school nutrition, or veterans' health care...

  • .... 53 were votes on budget resolutions or amendments that "could not have resulted by themselves in raising taxes," though many "were clear statements of approval for increased taxes"

    - The total includes multiple votes on the same measures

  • sounds like Obama doesn't know what he is doing. Obama is your typical ivy league elitist lawyer.

  • No such thing as clean coal? You better tell Obama/Biden. They support clean coal. Or they don't. Or they do. Or they don't...What the hell?

  • Coal is King!

  • roflmao clean coal americans must be utterly retarded if they swallow statements like that.

  • I support CLEAN DIRT!!!

I'm going to wash my CLOTHES in it!

I want to BATHE in it!

WOOHOO FOR CLEAN DIRT - NOW WITH 5 PERCENT LESS DIRTINESS!!!

  • Obama 308 vs. McCain 194 Yeah Yeah Yeah!!! Awesome!!!

  • sigh... Another lieing Mccain Ad... HAS NO CITATIONS OF OBAMA....If anyone was smart enough to hear what obama has to say on clean coal... HE HAS SUPPORTED IT...

    WRONG ON OBAMA....

    WRONG ON YOUR ECONOMY.......

    WRONG ON ALL ISSUES.............

    BARACK OBAMA !!!!!!COUNTRY FIRST!!!!!!!!

  • Country first! McCain!

  • good

  • good

  • there is no such thing as clean coal.

  • there is clean coal has less sulfur in it thats what clean coal is!

  • McCAIN and BUSH are so poorly thought of within the Republican party that they REFUSED to go along with them on a vote they had already promised.

OUCH!! That's got to send a huge message to McCAIN, his own party doesn't support him but then again, the Republicans NEVER wanted McCAIN in the first place, only moderate Repubs. Now they're stuck with him and his pet pig Palin

  • we need a hippy for president!!!!

  • Old Man McCain sucks.

Obama has ALWAYS supported Clean Coal.

  • Interesting. Looks like Obama quickly changed his stance on clean coal after the McCain ad came out!!!

oh wait, Obama has had the same energy policy since May of 2007! Oops! Another half truth by McCain.

  • oops i accidentally thumbs upped 'cause i only read half ur comment :(

  • Barack Obama's Campaign Sought to Exploit Rape Victim watch?v=xJvOvA9GylI

  • McCain is not like bush!!!!!!!!

mccain voted with him 90% of the time... ON WHAT?

mccain voted with democrats 97% of the time!!!!!!!!!!

mccain almost switched to the democratic party twice, HE IS BEARLY A REPUBLICAN!!!

    SO STOP THESE LIES!

HIS VP WOULD MAKE A BETTER PRESIDENT THAN OBAMA WOULD!!!

  • WOOHOO! GO politicalbeachbum!

  • This ad is incorrect. The Obama-Biden ticket does not oppose clean coal. Google "fact check" and read the issues for yourselves.

  • Truman: "The buck stops here!"

    Barney Frank: "Pass the buck."

Wall St.: "Give us a trillion bucks and trust us again!"

Main St.: "What happened to all our bucks?"

Barack Obama: "I want a buck in my limo!"

Michelle Obama: "I once had buck teeth."

    Jim Johnson{obama team}: "I made 100 million bucks."

  • REALITY

Republicans McCain and Bush and the entire Republican party have driven the U.S. economy into the ground.

McCain and his right hand man on economics Phil "America is a nation of whiners" Graham are the Republican economic degenerates.

McCain wants to continue the failed Bush - Republican economic road to ruin.

  • obama also has ties with ACORN...that is NOT good for America. He also has ties with Ayres who bombed America and later said he wished he'd done more...like I guess meaning he wished he was the one that took down the twin towers...he didn't elaborate.

  • obama pretty much opposes anything that is good for America.

  • Major politicians and the coal industry use the term "clean coal" to describe technologies designed to enhance both the efficiency and the environmental acceptability of coal extraction, preparation and use, Wikipedia.

  • Americans need to vote out every lying crooked democrat, that means all democrats out of Office ! Wake up, they are bringing Our Country to Our Knees. Whatever they don't steal, they get paid to protect those ripping US off, take the earnings of Hard Working Americans and give that money to those who think we owe them a living and pocket what is left over. Please help get these democrat crooks out of Our goverment ! Pro Patria doughboy

  • doughborne - what the fuck are you talking about? the reps have controlled the country for 6 of the 8 years. Only in the past 2 have we gotten somewhere reasonably better.

  • You know what I'm talking about, how about ACORN that they tried to slide into that bill and the money the democrats have been taken for years through fannie and freddie, why don't the democrats use some of the money that they have been paid off with to save US, They won't they can only rip US off and protect those who rip US off too ! Pro Patria doughboy

  • doughborne ... Do you read Michelle Malkin 24/7?

ACORN isn't really an issue anyone except her brings up. We are in the middle of a economic crisis and asshole republican majority and stupid jerk democrats failed to vote a bill that could save us. Call your congressman/woman and make them work! Stop bitching about dems and reps!

  • McCain '08

  • Republicans in the White house for 8 years and control the Senate and Congress for 6 of those years and what do you have?

    A FUCKED ECONOMY!

  • Republicans in the White house for 8 years and control the Senate and Congress for 6 of those years and what do you have?

    A FUCKED ECONOMY!

  • MCCAIN ROCKS!!!!

  • Excellent video. Finally putting Biden and his words on the front page. The Obama campaign somehow keeps pushing Bidens words under the rug.

  • Oh yea ... Biden's having words under the rug. And Sarah's are probably just too stupid to listen to.

  • No, thats the point I am trying to make. The media plasters Palin's words all over the news, but when Biden says something wrong, you never hear about it.

  • I think it's fair to say that Biden needs to have his mouth handed to him. He rips on McCain endlessly.

But at the same time, Palin should drop out. At this point, everyone will understand. There is no way I can vote republican if neither of the candidates know anything about the economy or handling international politics through negotiations.

That is not that much to ask for.

  • McCain Palin 08

  • **Attention McCain Supporters**

If you havent seen already.....VERY damning videos PROVING the Democrats are liars when it comes to the economic crisis w/Fannie & Freddie. Make sure to pass them to everyone you know. Version 1 had over 1 million hits in 4 days!

    /watch?v=_MGT_cSi7Rs

    /watch?v=NU6fuFrdCJY&feature=email

  • Vote Obama - Obama supports closing all coal and other enviromental producing evil energy producing plants in the US. Stop Global Warming and Big Oil - Support Obama.

  • He does? Does he know this? Because Joe Biden seems to be confused.

  • McCain 08!

  • GO MCCAIN

  • 63rd comment

  • Thanks for McCain and Palin in 2008.

  • Heres an impression of a Republican congressman "Someone hurt my feelings so thats why I voted against bailout; just spite them (and american people)". I'd love to see IQ test given to congress; both parties would score quite low, but I bet GOP scores lower.

  • Ahh, a mind reader. So What was the reason behind all the democrats that voted no? And who decided that their presidential ambitions were more important than doing the job that the people of Illinois elected him to do in a crisis situation?

    Obama=Ambition over leadership and duty.

  • This was a Republican bill, put forward by a Republican President and over 2 thirds of Democrats supported it. The Republicans couldn't bring themselves to support it. It is the Republicans fault. Obama has been in constant contact with congress and whitehouse. Mccain was one who sabotaged talks in first place, to get different ineffective plan so he can take credit. I don't want to hear anymore of your partisan B.S.

  • This is probably the mentality of the members of Congress.. and the reason why nothing is getting solved.

Instead of pointing fingers at each other, they should be working together. But they're not. They're too busy blaming each other for the failure of the bill. And your mentality proves why.

  • no taxpayer bailout for crooked wall street bankers

  • and the crooked democrats that protect crooked CEO's too ! Pro Patria doughboy

  • So republicans who love laisse-faire, under-invest in everything apart from the biggest socialist organisaton in world US military, got US into huge debt, fights pointless wars, thinks drilling is going to help, and who become hypersenstive anytime one of them is legitematly attacked are not to blame. I think you need to vote in Palin. Shes got all knowledge on economics and bank practises to sort this mess out. America is laughing stock world.

  • I don't believe I ever said they WEREN'T to blame.

In fact, I'm pretty sure all I said was that the blame game isn't helping anything in Congress.

  • In response to your partisan BS, the President called for non-partisan action on the bill and Pelosi responded by locking out Republicans on the final changes and delivering a very partisan speech blaming Bush and Republicans for the current crisis. This is ridiculous because Bill Clinton deserves equal if not more blame because of his National Housing Initiative and other housing policies and appointing Franklin Raines to head Fannie Mae.

  • Bill Clintons policies were risky; but lets put things in perspective. That is 16 years of Republican Congree opposing regulation and state intervention. Nearly 8 years of Republican President able to create a record surplus to a record debt and under-invest in everything. American public consistently vote in idiots from nixon to now; and now they oppose a bail out because of there stupidity. US public deserve what they get. Lets hope you don't bring down rest world with their stupidity.

  • You have an interesting, and untrue, view of history ckerton. It was Clinton appointees that pushed lending institutions to make very risky loans to people that were bad credit risks in the name of "Urban Renewal". They did this with threats of fines for "unfair lending practices" when compared demographically to the federally subsidized Freddie/Fannie. Clinton also appointed the heads of Fannie/Freddie, who mismanaged and robbed them into oblivion.

  • How the hell do you know who to vote?!

  • I still think hes the better choice because McCain really does change his position all the time but in the meanwhile it seems to me that Obama isn't as honest as it often appears. I'm relating to his "truth squads" for example.

In Germany we don't vote for our chancellor. He/ She is voted by politicians in the parliament. By letting the American people themselves vote, the campaigns stop focussing on issues and arguments. It's all only about winning the mass by manipulation and lies.

  • I am SO relieved I'm not an American and don't have to vote for either Obama or McCain. After all these lies and propaganda one doesn't know shit about what these people are planning to do. At first I trusted Obama because in the debate he seemed very sure of himself and clearly structured what he said about his goals and how he wants to realize them.

  • OBAMA 08!
