  • The glare is terrible.

  • lol, this television is ahead of it's time. When it become affordable for the mass market, then I'll be interested.

I am super impressed by my Samsung Galaxy S2's Super AMOLED screen, and can't wait for televisions to have that sort of screen.

  • I don't really care about how thin the TV is... I care about the quality... I prefer a TV that has a really good quality but has 20 cm of thickness than a TV with 1 cm but with less quality.

  • In five years TVs are going to be as thin as paper. Literally.

  • Your going to get so much eyestrain from these it's won't be funny.

You might have to goto the hospital =)

  • How does this cost?

  • i have the same in 30 size

  • i have a samsung jet phone, and it is one of the first to use the AMOLED technology, and it's been almost 2 years now and it still looks amazing compared to LCD/TFT displays.

  • I am still not convinced about the long term viability of organic LED screens!!! I remember hearing that the Sony monitors would wear out after a few months especially the blue led's! I cannot see how a screen made with organic components can be as durable as one that uses inorganic leds

  • @katakisLives My camera uses a AMOLED display, and has worked great for over a year now. Also a samsung. Great looking screen too.

  • @katakisLives

The new Sony 17 and 25 inch panels have the same life span as CRT now

  • This is insanity...

  • Do you still get dead pixels from AMOLEDs?

  • i wonder if they fixed the blue half-life issue that plagues OLED..

  • @kakureru Yes about 5 years ago, not long after the first commercially available OLED panels came to market

  • @kakureru Thats a really good question!!! one that nobody seems willing to answer!!! in all the hype surrounding the the resolution and energy consumption nobody ever talks about the fact that organic light emmiting diodes are made of volitile organic substances that are known to wear out fairly rapidly.

  • :O

    <3

  • So, what's the point of uploading a video of a new, crystal clear, colorful TV which most people will end up watching on their LCD monitors?

  • quand cost?

  • Too small

  • @thangpham too small my ass

  • 3D TV is a total waste of money IMHO. AMOLED on the other hand is tomorrows technology just arriving today. When fab techniques allow for 50"+ AMOLED displays LED backlit LCD and Plasma are doomed!

  • @element2310

They said Plasma's were doomed when LCD arrived, they said the same when LED arrived. Now its AMOLEDS turn. Nothing can beat Plasma tvs u idiot. U get a perfect picture with them!

  • @Turkish2023

Clearly you have no concept of the technology involved in AMOLED nor any concept of the picture quality, contrast ratio and colour depth.

When you get your facts right come and talk to me again, in the mean time good luck with your outdated technology.

  • @Turkish2023 yea if you dont watch anything with the color black... or enjoy having pictures burned into your tv... just because you bought a plasma when they first came out and spend like 3 grand doesnt mean its still the best

  • @Turkish2023 yeah, and then a 2 years later, the bulbs in the tv burn out and you have to.

    1. buy another tv

    2. replace the bulb, which will probably cost a lot.

Basically, AMOLED has all the benefits of plasma, but

    1. run a lot more efficiently, produce less heat.

    2. last longer.

    3. More contrast, because AMOLED has true black, instead of 5,000,000:1 like your plasma,

    AMOLED has ____:0

Using calculus, when the bottom of a function is approaching 0, the limit is INFINITE.

  • @Turkish2023 Plasmas flicker, end of.

  • @element2310 3D = Fucked up eyes. Yes I agree.

  • And the ONLY thing sony has better than the Samsung sets is it doesn't produce ghosting during dark scenes and sony has truer blacks. THATS all. The samung color is off the charts and vibrant. The detail and sharpness is much MUCH better when using automotion on "low" and it kills as far as brightness.

  • Um....sony what?? Sony sucks compared to Samsung and thats a cold hard fact kiddos. Samung is the NUMBER 1 manufacturer in cell phones AND television sets. Check the stats for yourself and Samsung leads in customer LOYALTY as well. The quality of the LCD or LED sets for samsung with their automotion feature DESTROYS the entire industry hands down. Trust me, I've compared them ALL side by side on their max settings. It wasn't even remotely close to being a tough decistion going witih a sams.

  • i wonder if you can mount those on a wall? if all TVs are going to be paper thin like this, wall mounts will have to be installe AROUND the frame of the TV instead of behind it! Crazy stuff, i never saw this coming

  • I'll be able to afford one of those approximately in 2020

  • @leandeganis lolz i alrdy got the 3d tv 50 inch trust me its not worth it. Ide like my 3k back

  • @zero0infinitelife well if you bought a 50 3D tv that was just stupid anyway where did you go to get that? a flea-market?

  • Samsung > Sony. Period. Samsung is the World leader

  • @MOONiE2k6LG> Sony> Samsung Period. LG is the world leader

  • @rodaz440 nintendo>everything lol nintendo is the world leader!

  • Comment removed

  • @liadon666 no not nintendo wtf?

  • Ernestly i cannot find any better screen then Samsung's super AMOLED.

Samsung is only company able to make HD TV use 100% their own part.

Go research and tell me if i am wrong.

  • @blackhawk2429 Your wrong. Samsung does not make there all of there panels. Sharp makes the most of "their own" parts.

  • @SsJukeBox360sS You are totally wrong. Super Amoled created and developed by Samsung, which mean

samsung has patent. how come such as small company Sharp make most parts for samsung TV. You gotta be kidding lol . Most of samsung product use their own parts. samsung also used super amoled display to cell phone such as Galaxy S phone. You are so wrong man..

  • @blackhawk2429 sharp a small company!? lol. You do realize they have the largest and most advanced factor to date. They make more panels for other companies then any one else. Yes, Samsung does do there own AMOLED. Sharp being small..... You couldn't be anymore wrong. Samsung has been sued and lost by sharp from stealing sharps patents. It goes on and on.

  • By using this type of technology, not necessarily this model can source images be duplicated on the different viewing angles of the screen ?

In other words can a 2 frame stereoscopic 3D source be duplicated to fill 6 angles of the screen so that me and two other people can watch in 3D ? Obviously sat at just the right spacing and with eyes horizontal to the screen

  • I have a LED TV but its not 3D!:(

  • The TV is samsung 2.5D. 3D has not been

  • Play an NES game on here and the thing will explode.

  • @barneybros Lol.. Really?

  • @O1sonicO1 No I'm kidding lol

  • lol Sony buys LED-LCD panels from Samsung. I can't believe people still think Sony is the best after all these years of getting screwed over by their overpriced junks that's not better than any other brands out there. When it comes to LED-LCD TVs, Samsung and LG owns other companies. They are the only ones that are able to produce the panels.

  • i think they will release first a AMOLED for computer screen 2 years later start production AMOLED 40" TV screens ??

  • Great!!!

  • the BIG problem with the AMOLED and ANY OLED tv is that it has a huge base on it, if they can make the controller circut and the screen in the same case and still be super thin then i will be impressed!

  • @DJAlup

    What for?!

You will never get good sound quality if you always say "everyting should be thin".

  • i cant wait to play 3D Games!

  • i tried samsung's 3D TV at bestbuy.. it was amazing it was true 3D. check it out

  • where didi you see the 3d really?

  • @absolutinpire,

#1: led vs led, Sony image better picture

    #2: Sony last longer

But if that doesn't really matter to you, go for the Samsung, cause although Sony wins with those things it doesn't win by a huge gap. I would go for the Samsung for the price.

  • @jbravo70 LED screen only produce in South Korea.

    SONY also import from Korea..

Samsung is simply the best and best selling TV in the world.

What year are you living? 1945?

  • @blackhawk2429 Your comment makes no sense.

  • @jbravo70 Sony buys Samsungs panels you fucktard..

  • @O1sonicO1, I never talked bad about Samsung, I just said it came in probably close 2nd to Sony, and if you dont mind spending the extra money then go for the Sony. Either one of these two companies could care less about you or your financial status, they just want your business...so it is beyond me why you would take personal offense to something as stupid as a comment on youtube, you are not the owner or shareholder of either of these two companies.

  • @ 01sonic01, Sony, like many other manufacturers use parts from

others. It may be possible for Sony to have Samsung parts in their LCD

panels, and of course Sony chips and parts are in other brands. They

all have their expertise. If you think samsung makes a complete tv and

slaps a Sony label on it then your the fucktard and a total moron.

  • @jbravo70 true s-lcd wiki. sony and Samsung are Parent

  • @O1sonicO1, Sony makes CMOS chips for the biggest DSLR's like Canon & Nikon, yet Canon & Nikon make way better DSLR's. One thing has nothing to do with

    the other dumbass idiot!

  • TOO FUCKING EXPENSIVE!!!

  • Since I am watching this on my LCD monitor, I can't see the true potential of colors :D But damn, it's awesome and thin!!!

  • damn it's beautiful!!!

  • i can't wait for those to be like30 inches wide ! it will be AWSOME !

  • damn that's thin

  • cool tv from Samsung. though Sony was the first one to release their OLED TV, samsung has the right to release their own one provided that they produce a ggod television with flaws that are so little to even notice. this is a great tv from samsung. we have review articles and video reviews of other HDTVs at ledtvscreens(dot)org you can freely visit us.

  • I would have to disagree with samsung copying Sony. Although Sony is better in many ways, they don't have slim tv's like samsung. They both make awesome tv's, and you really can't go wrong with either. Sony is Overpriced though.

  • @jbravo70 Many ways?? name two..

  • the most impressive thing so far ive seen is how slim they are

  • wtf hau small

  • I dont know, I think you would look like a real Space Cadet wearing those glasses and watching TV

  • Comment removed

  • @jbravo70 its all a conspiracy..its all a form of mind control!!! why else would goofy looking glasses with a cheap red and blue lens or whatever color they are cost over 200$

  • go to consumeraffairs com to find out about SAMSUNG's unusual numbers of costumer complaints.

  • so the picture looks normal unless you put 3d glasses on?

holy shit, thats a thin tv

  • is this 3d tv auto stereoscopic?

  • I think it is the time for 3d Amoled-Tv to show off.

I think with the great movie Avatar with got enough 3d experience to convince to the manufacture companies to produce big Oled Tvs to sale to the whole world.

  • damn shes a slim ho!

  • can someone explain what 3DTV is? is it just like a braviaHDTV that I have and like direcTV has satellite channels that sends you picture?

  • its like those movies in which u put on the glasses to watch at the cinema

  • Did you watch 3D movie Avarta?? That TV is the same kind of that...wearing 3D glassess, you can watch the TV in 3D

  • You would has to buy TV that is 3D ready, some projector TV are 3D ready but isn't fully test whether actually work with oncoming 3D content.

You has to pay medium and top model line up in 2010 model to get the 3D ready TV. Wait till next year or 2 when that technology pass down to most TV and lower price.

  • I'll give you some help on your grammar issues in hope that it will help you learn English.

You would HAVE to by A tv that is 3D ready, some projector tv'S, are 3D ready but AREN't fully testED whether THEY actually work with oncoming 3D content.

  • WOW THAT SURE IS A SLIM TV
