there came a time in my life when I realized that I had to leave it all behind, that I could never achieve anything without the love and guidance of the Lord. This song is awesome I heard this when I got back from chapter retreat with Inter-varsity like 2 weeks ago and I put a lot of things in perspective for me bc the focus of our chapter retreat was John 4:1-42 which is Jesus and the woman at the well and it had a real impact on me. Just need to realize that nothing of this world can quench our thirst but what God offers us will make us never thirst again.

My best friend called me one night after going to a Casting Crowns and the first thing she said when I picked up the phone was how she heard this song for the first time and fell in love with it. She said she wanted us to sing in together at our local churches. Sadly, we havent got to sing it together yet.

I want to share with you when I came to the well is when I walk into a church in my home town in the mist of a funeral service on Good Friday of this year. God want to use that to show that my old life of sin was going to die and my new life in Christ was going to be life changing. I have never been the same because I found out who I was in Christ Jesus after all these years of being in a broken home and having the labels of social service on me because of it.
