The repubs didn't spend a trillion dollars on the war that killed our terrorist enemies and made our country and others safer. This spendulus bill is going to cost us 9 trillion dollars, more than all the wars in the history of our nation. It's the pork, like billions of $ to save a marsh mouse in San Francisco, pelosi's district. Read the shit that does nothing to create jobs or stimulate the economy. How does saving a marsh rat or maintaining a butterfly garden create jobs and help the economy. $45 million for ATV 4- wheeler trails and govt. office renovations, $3Bill. to Acorn, over $650 Mil in coupons to help consumers buy digital converter boxes, etc. These are in the bill and have no effect on the economy except put more burden.

There's a time to be humorous and a time to be serious. This ain't the time for Obama to be humorous. He has inherited a country (and a world) that has been devistated by the money brokers who have run amok for 8 years. The world has NEVER experienced such a crisis. He'll be serious for some time to come, perhaps 3 years. Put yourself in his place. There's not too much humor to be had when you're responsible to fix the Bush, et al mess. As long as you keep blaming one man for the worlds problems you will always lack credibility. This is not worse than the great depression this in not the end of the world and this is not the result of one man. The economy was great up until a year ago and everyone was doing quite well. Even now less than 9% are unemployed which is three points higher when Clinton left office. Hold up. Bush, et al, like Repubs, warned the Congress and Senate years ago about Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, but the liberals, some who had personal financial stakes in both, refused to investigate. Obama was among the senators to refuse. Ironically, F.M. and F.M. busted and you blame Bush??!!? FOR 5 YEARS LIBERALS REFUSED TO INVESTIGATE THE HOUSING FRAUDS!!
