Track speed is greater then any sport speed. It's freaking track. Well good luck to him. He said himself, "if you are blessed with the talent, don't waste it". Not saying his speed was being wasted in football, just the Olympics is a world event. If you have the opportunity to partcipate in it, then you shouldn't pass it up.

He's doing track fulltime now for the olympics. Think he's done with football, he'll have to drop alot of weight. Track speed is greater than football speed (straight line, lighter bodies, specialized training to RUN ONLY, etc.) It doesn't mean that some of the NFL burners woudln't have been great track runners, truth is, there is more opportunity and money in football if you're good enough.

DeAnthony is incredibly quick, a lot like DeSean Jackson. But he doesn't have the leg drive & power to run at a world class level. But he's still fast and lightning quick and a great football player!
