In addition, would it be possible for me to get a download? I want to burn this onto a CD so that I can watch it on my HD Blu Ray/DVD player, especially if I lose internet.
@TotalBunghole Thank you for all your kind words. The quickest way for you to download this movie is to download a program called RealPlayer. After you install that program, just move your curser over to the top right of the video and you should get a "download this video" icon. You and everyone else have my blessing on that. I only ask that you support the game makers of the Resident Evil franchise by purchasing a few of the games :-). Also check out the preview to my first feature film DREAM.
As per the games, which ones are closest to this movie? The first one bored me quickly (though I had just finished a run-through of SH2 at the time), but I've never given the other games a fair chance, and I've only seen the second movie.
@petertranart I actually saw "Wesker" the other day and told him of your complement. He was thrilled to hear it and would like to thank you! He and I spent a lot of time getting him right for the role including his look and the way he spoke. I can't tell you how many times we shot his bit of dialog, "Though, you and Barry both thought I was following Umbrella's orders" just to get it right.
another thing guys there spost to be S.T.A.R.S u should have invested in some airsoft tactical gear but dont take this wrong the films isnt bad it has good ideals in it
@homefilmsdigital It was a tricky balance. CGI shots were used only when we didn't have the resources to pull off a particular shot. That doesn't always mean just creatures and dogs. Sometimes just getting a really great looking wide shot with a fireplace in the distance or that opening scene in the mansion just didn't have the same feeling without the CGI. If I could have done it any other way, I would have. It's part of the lessons you learn when making any movie.
man i like how u used the CGI at the begaining of the movie but its kinda stupid when u use it and u see the video game carthater and they look nothing like ur actors u over used the CGI alot
@RAGINGDEMON500 Actually, we’re well aware of who says what including that of STARS and Umbrella. We made changes to give Alpha team members more screen time, and for the sake of Resident Evil newbies watching a 30 minute film. Explain “Raccoon City”, STARS, and “Umbrella” to non-RE fans and they just loose interest. Don’t take it to heart, pal, it’s a fan film.
lol..found a blooper..where Jill is in the bathroom, the zombie is Not in the tub, (no water ) you see the key, poof, zombie IS in the tub with water . funny !
@Ghostfanofurs HA! I was hoping someone would catch that! The mistakes in this film are pretty deliberate in keeping with the B-Movie feel. Watch Wesker's sunglasses change from scene to scene too
I am viewing were I left off on this video to watch, another comment, please get you Make-Up guys to do a little more work on the Zombies Pleaseeeeee :))
Lol, this was great work, excellent editing, I also agree with the comment on Rebbecca, perhaps a wig would have worked. Another RE Fan thanks you for the fine work done !
holy poopin toopin this was good! :D im thinking about doing something like thiss so can i ask where you got your gun noises fromm? :D buut yeah, you guys did awesomee, all of you! xD
@Jakeclusta1 Thank you, Jake! The gun sound fx and music were all lifted right from the series. We tried to keep the soundtrack as faithful as possible. Good luck with your's if you ever make one!
It's really good to be honest, except for the whole lot of small flashes from the game, i believe thats a little out of context. You might wanna make more RL footage than putting in that :)
But very good work, i'd like to see more of such :)
@mollebjornen Is it that out of context though? Here's the thing. We made this thing with exactly $500. So the idea of getting helicopters, giant snakes, and a tyrant didn't seem possible. The game footage used was to complete what we ourselves could not have done at the time. Glad you liked the rest of it though :-)
Hey everyone! Thanx so much for the comments. To answer your questions, we used Hi8 video format which resulted in the image blur. We didn‘t have a real budget on this so our cast and costumes were as good as... free. At the time, I was learning how to write and direct. Have fun spotting all the errors! Today I’m more focused on original material and have no interest in returning to fan films. Though, it’d be interesting to see someone else make Biohazard 2!
@Snakethoot I was hoping would pick up on that mistake. There's a deliberate one as well. Check out Wesker's sunglasses ;-). As for a remake or sequel, I have no intetion of doing so. It was a fun project to do, but I'm interested in making my own work these days. Check out my trailer for my film "Dream" sometime.
In addition, would it be possible for me to get a download? I want to burn this onto a CD so that I can watch it on my HD Blu Ray/DVD player, especially if I lose internet.

Guess which Silent Hill superfan has decided that he NEEDS to give the RE games a shot after watching this masterpiece.

The actor who plays Wesker is the best. When I heard that voice, I knew he nailed it
