  • andreas you are a great guy!

  • Go PDX!!

  • better than django himself!!

  • @MrJoePass89 Django only used 2 fingers...

  • @TheBlakem That doesn't mean it was better.

  • so cool!!

    awesome!

    素晴らしい

  • what is the song s name??

  • @1burakcan minor swing

  • Wow! Amazing :)

  • I'm getting this sheet music

  • Never get tired of listening to Django. You play it so well, my man.

  • sickkkkk

  • wicked playing brother!

  • okay this is okay;)

  • I love it

  • 1:52 look at his face. not even he himself can belive how amazing he sounds

  • ベッカム似!

  • awesome, i always wanted to play like that.

  • metal suffers from bad lyrics i would rather listen to instrumental metal metal needs to grow up lyricaly joy division lyrics are adult metal lyrics are for fourteen year olds who get bullied at school but the musicians in metal bands are very good.

  • dude what the fuck r u talking about?

  • @korntwist1 at the 36th second he plays fur elise

  • kids who get bullied need music too, ya big douche. if you don't like it don't listen to it

  • What a great pair of hands..SUPER CHOPS..Driven by enormous talent..or..Musical Intellect..I just love..this Passionate Music....Django Lives..Thank You Andreas..!!

  • i recorded that vid and thats my guitar!

  • ridiculous skill makes me want to do a Bachelor of Music in jazz studies

  • WOW WEEEEE you difinitely know your instrument. do you play the chromatic harmonica?

  • Not as stylish as Joscho's playing but still out of this world

  • he's way better than joscho

  • Burning!!

  • I wish he would play more Django. Lately he's been playing a lot of mainstream Jazz. I miss this side of him :[

  • Absolutly out of this world! Damn, I hope i get to hear that guy live some day^^

  • no rock guitarist ever had a jazz players virtuosity some come close though, marty friedman for example, but the speed of django style on a acoustic (with NO DISTORTION to make you sound fast) has to be harder.

  • Tak till youtuben man fick att veta att det finns så jättebra spelare i Sverige.

    Hälsningar från Portugal

  • Great playing. Very stiff, tight like a shredder, compared to the usual gypsy style bounce style picking. But it's cool that it's different. I like the playing.

  • damn it i thought only i would know that... there goes my ego!

  • 36 seg fur elisse...

  • Ha, I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that.

  • check the bassist in the background, I looks like he notices it too. :)

  • Loks like Morse, plays like Reinhardt,,,,, talks like Sweden...

  • Was that Beethovens riff at :36?

  • haha...good ear i think so. that riff kinda slipped my ear until i read ur comment :)

  • dude yea....hahaha...that was fur elise. lolz

  • what kinda guitar is that with the big sound hole?

  • manouche?

  • whats the point in having a big hole? how does it sound different from a normal guitar?

  • this is a selmer maccaferri grand bouche replica (designed and patented by mario macafferri, and italian classical guitar palyer), the original one in 1932 had a sound resonator inside so you would not need amplification, then there is the selmer petit bouche, from 1933, that could use a pick up. The grand bouche is probably the best guitar you could play, of course with savarez argentinas strings (silver plated) if you want this beautiful souns.

  • i think this cat sound waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better in this setting than that other bop or the organ trio stuff. it fits him more

  • sounds great, loved it.

but to me the rhytm section didnt sound right.

great to see a young guy with such talent in recent years. :)

  • my dad haves a band with him

  • that's fucking great!

  • Man, he should try his hand at some metal. damn he's good

  • metal ? you got to be kidding...

  • I just meant that he is really fast and has great technique. I still ove this stuff though.

  • To me, heavy-metal rock is just some sounds, rhythm and screaming. Add satanic, violent and sexual messages to that.

  • Well, that's your opinion.

  • Thank god someone is mature enough to say that!

  • Yeah, well... Music is a subjective thing and the sooner people stop trying to turn it into a competition the better.

  • Yeah, well... Music is a subjective thing. I listne to everything from jazz to black metal, classic rock to alternative. The sooner people stop trying to turn it into a competition the better.

  • Not all heavy metal is satanic, violent and/or sexual.

The fact that you would make a generalization like that shows your lack of maturity.

  • the part starting at 1:50, AMAZING

  • What kind of scale is he using ?

  • "django" scales...he pretty much uses arpeggios with the leading tone to each chord factor. Also, melodic & harmonic minor, and pentatonic...

  • A harmonic minor, E phrygian dominant, mixed with minor Scale of a and d

  • Superbe, que belle façon de toucher la guitare

  • absolutely magic !

  • really powerful, i could have a dance if i were there

  • This guy quotes Beethoven in the first 30 seconds and then moves on. Holy balls.

  • Un bon manouche qui vient du froid....

  • jawsome

  • Does nobody else think Andreas looks like David Beckham?

  • yes

  • except hotter and with more integrity :D

  • this is completely retarded...i love it!

  • ma-la-de! :)

  • the man is an untamed animal!

  • Great!

  • He is a malmsteen/reinhardt mutant : malmshardt.

  • Malmsteen. haha.

Portland OR., please, shut the fuck up and let the musicians play.

  • du behärskar alla musikstilar och det är mycket duktigt.

  • vive le manouche :)

  • ahahahahaha, 1:20-1:30 looks super sped up.

    Damn hes good

  • amazing!

  • le manouche qui venait du froid....

  • I think he has 6 fingers... and a spare one in his pocket?

  • I saw you live in Sweden last year, it was great!

  • this guy sounds like django would've sounded like if he had all four fingers

  • no man check out stochelo rosenberg. and led zeppelin DOES rule, i'm glad there are other die hard zeppelin fans that like jazz like this out there.

  • thumbs up :)

  • Vad använder du för gitarr här då? Den ser ju riktigt trevlig ut!

    /Tomas

  • thats incredible

  • UNREAL!

  • Way too cool

  • The tune is MINOR SWING Django's iconic tune.

most of the rhythm can be played with one

chord voicing. The only exception is the Bb7

    Am6 Dm6 Bm6 (E7/B)

  • What a monster! And he play's bebop just as well.

  • FUCKIN AMAZING!! is that steel string or nylon?

  • steel, heavy gauge

  • the guitar is a Maccaferri, or a good copy!

  • this is pretty cool stuff, anyone know what guitar hes using

  • Great rendition of Django's Swing! Wow! Love this stuff! Keep up the great work! :D

Right at 1:30 you gave me goosebumps. Awesome talent!

  • good

  • genius

  • Bravo!!!

  • VERY NICE!<>! Gillar dina artiklar i fuzz också.

  • NICE! Andreas, your playing is awesome

  • I tell ya, he is without a dout in the top 10 best guitar players of all time. *sigh Being Gypsy..and having just recently started playing....i wish i had started when i was like 5 years old. Playing with any of these guys is my ultimate dream :(

  • andreas why are you so good?

  • got any tabs for this?

  • Ya, this guy came outta nowhere and landed himself inside the 10 best guitar players to ever live...although at the bottom of the list..still...he is unreal.

  • that's pretty amazing

  • One small point of critisism: The excessive face expression doesn't really fit in Django's music in my opinion. That's the only critisism I can think of though, can't stop listening :D

  • The Swedish Master of jazz guitar of old was Rune Gustafsson, forever criticized for his dead-pan facial expression - no muscle ever twithched. One of his successors is now criticized for moving facial muscles in the midst of things - ah, well.

  • Wow awesome, got the insanely fast part in 1:27-29 covered well too! (Y)

  • The greatest guitar player alive in my opinion!!

  • i think so, he plays greatful, he rocks
