I was somewhere in the country, forget which state or town, and I walked into this very rectangular vhs and video game store, packed with games and movies, where I found this little jewel sitting on a shelf. one of the first anime style rpg's i ever played. got me hooked on others like vanguard bandits, lunar 2, etc... i played the game when i was younger, kept having to rent it from the rental store, cuz i could never find it any of the retail stores...i found it just this last summer at gen-con, ( a game convention) my first thought was. I HAVE TO BUY IT, then i saw the price $80.00 and thought, ummm... yea, maybe not. lol

modern consoles dont sponsor much rpg's. first, they promote better graphics(which is not a requirement for a good RPG). Better graphics is today's focus. They dont care about storyline at all. Second, reviews point RPG games boring because of it's gameplay. Instead, they promote FPS which are full of action and violence. Today's companies dont care about us RPG lovers anymore. T_T

this game is my favorite. I have an XBOX360 but I swear nothing beats the classics..... this game is way too easy for a guy as good as me.. AMF!!! just kidding but one thing Im really proud of is that I had a bad-ass spell that does 1000+ damage on every monster except for bosses. and FYI to all Thousand Arms loyal fans, Bandigger is the strongest enemy here not the final boss...

It really is a forgotten gem though. hehe, i remember my ThousandArms cd was all scratched up, every time I defeated bolt the game would freeze up.

I would defeat him over and over up to 15 times until I got a break and made it past that scratch on the disk :)
