  • jolly good fun listening to this song. i just love those british band from the 60s, 70s and 80s. it was the time of british pop invasion into the usa though not all made it there.

  • @anhrodnee; I rented a 3 or 4 volume British Invasion CD compilation (I've seen it on Amazon, too). So much great stuff just like this, including lesser known groups & non-hits!

  • This reminds me of the great underground cinematic hit, "Uncle Stash and the Christmas Zombies", which featured a love story involving a beautiful Arab girl and a mildly retarded Bantu carpenter. The village elders oppose the union and are about to torture the couple when zombies intervene.

  • Jeden z najpiękniejszych utworów. Mogę słuchać go "na okrągło" Kocham Was nie tylko za ten utwór ale i za wszystkie wasze arcydzieła Marek J Zambrów Poland

  • sound,,?

  • And wright they are

  • Que buen video

  • I just love these sort of records, where you just know they were having such a good time recording them - They capture life - Shame we don't get this kind of stuff anymore - lets hear a bit of outrageousness again - let us hear the artists personality's shining through!

  • @DesdomonaChild Yeah, it's weird that the most artists nowadays don't have that authentic sound like it existed once before. Music which would sound like sixties music today is rare. That is weird... Bands evovolved... ok... But why does temporary music suck so bad? It just doesn't have the vibe to say YES! That's cool without any discussion.

  • Still the best Trems hit.

  • Lucky enought to play them all in small market west coast America radio, back in the day. Priceless.

  • Love the Tremloes. One of my favorite groups of the 60's. Why can't we have happy music like this again?

  • @skydiver172 you know , i found a long time ago youtube and search all the songs i like when i was a kid a teenager

  • One of the Tremeloes best hits.

  • yes thats were the good old days with music .waahhhhhh !!!!

  • In :Tylle: Denmark, we saw every week, new English Bands, it was awesome, so I`ve known Tremeloes,Deep Purple,Pretty Things,Them, and a lot more, so I`m the lucky one cause I really love music, I grew up with the best......Thanx to you all.....

  • there is also a dutch version of this song.... /watch?v=nZAYojP6Fwo

  • a feel good kind of a song

  • I defy anyone to not sing along and not feel fantastic afterwards! impossible!! amazing feel good song!

  • Ten utwór przypomina mi młodość. Wracają wspomnienia. A tak długo go szukałem Dzięki Wam za wspaniały przebój

    Marek Zambrów Poland

  • This song would be perfect for Keith Moon... I could just imagine it as a song that'd fit on his solo album...

  • ^_^ I just love this. They're just goofin' off, having a good time. Yeah...good times, good song, good band. We need music like this nowadays.

  • even the good times are bad, great tune great singers bring them back again.xx

  • Released July 1967 and reached no. 5 in the UK.

  • A great song from a great era for music.

  • Luv this one

  • "freddy parrot-face"

  • I love old stuff like this. What a sound - my band cover this one. I never saw this video before... I notice a few strange things; the pet rodent, the' kill the cops' slogan they painted on the wall at 0:57(wonder if their label thought that was cool ) the crazy cool double-neck mosrite would be probably worth about 8 grand, who knows?

  • This song brings me back to October of 1967, I don't recall hearing it much before possibly that same September. Yet others claim it was released that same Summer??

  • This song was released on Sept 30th 1967 Your memory is spot on!!!

(i had to look it up)

  • Classic - Thank You !

  • Cool Man. Until now i never knew that this Video was made in Austria at the Federal Railway of Austria. Love the mechanical Signal System Type 5007 at 0:39 - Great

  • AMAZING M8!

  • Epic Records, 5-10233 with Jenny's All Right on B side

  • Remember listening to this at the football with me dad.

  • what football??

  • As 1967 gets further and further away into the mists of time ! If anyones interested you can also hear this on 'Midday Spin' from Monday 31st July '67 B.B.C. Light Programme presented by the late great Simon Dee,already a big T.V. star on his chat show. You can find it on Radio Rewind Radio 1 and 2 website

  • Summer of Love was 1968... at least in the Midwest USA

  • i've got the e.p. wiv this on,i no sad bast.

  • a nice song!

  • the one with the lighter jacket is Chip Hawkes, father of one hit wonder Chesney Hawkes

  • The other version of this, released on CBS records in 1967, has a "go on Len have a sing" shout during the intro and a somewhat subdued bass line on the chorus in direct contrast to this version.

  • was on the first album I owned as a kid for my new walkman on christams day between 86 and 88, now being married the words have a real meaning for me.

xx a luv u kels xx

  • WHAT A GREAT SING -A- LONG NUMBER

  • you are very right sandydenny411 good song for the bad times now

  • This song was featured in the BBC TV special The Summer of 1967_The Summer of Love. Check it out.

  • One of my favourite songs by the Tremeloes

  • interesting

  • This is great :-)

  • In 1967 the Beatles were light years ahead of these guys.

  • True, but this is just good knockabout fun and it made a nice change in 1967.

  • yes thats right, but I still think they are great :)

  • The tremeloes did a beatle song good day sunshine.

  • and so what ?

  • Good song for the bad times now!!!

even the bad times are good with good music..

  • I agree with you sandy, very real what you ve written, good song for the bad times

  • @sandydenny411 good music will always see me through the bad times!!!!

  • Yes, 1967... July time, I'm sitting at my gal's place in Cheam and her ex roars by on his scooter going "Here we go baby Way-Hay!!" Laugh? I nearly bought me own beer.

  • These guys were stoned when they did this!! Pass the Dutchie baby.

  • laaaaa la la la la la la laaaaaa la laaaaaaaaaaaa la la la la la la laaaaaaaaaaaaa la

  • Way cool share, Tricia!

  • fritz5154 great post i have them all in my favs thanks TRICIA FOR SHARING just great music

  • In 1987 when the storm had blown everything away in England, a D.J. played this ...and we felt like having a PARTY!!!!

  • reminds me of my youth ;-))))

  • Watching their late 60's videos reminds me of The Goodies or The Monkees or even The Hudson Bros. they lampoon much more than the Beatles did. I like it very fun to watch!

  • Even the bad times are good, boys and girls and all friends out there.

  • tried to sing this at a Man City(changed the words mainly the chorus la, la,la,la Shaun Goater) match against the scum but got drowned out when Goater scored the third making it 3-1

  • Dinkydalton......

You should of stuck with it - it would of catched on!!

    FEED THE GOAT....

I remember (vividly) that day as my favourite ever derby victory - it was the last ever at Maine Road!!

Watched it in the Rising Sun on Burnage Lane (been knocked down now) but for all the "We're not really here", "Garry Neville is a Blue" and "Feed The Goat" chants that happened......

Your "Laaa la la la la la la Shaun Goater" chant would of been a winner - if we'd of known!!

    CTID

  • HELL YES 1 of the best songs i was 12 years still love it

  • Apparently this song was put forward as the UK entry for Eurovision SC in 1967 but failed to make it..Beaten by Sandie Shaw (Puppet on a String). The Tremeloes might have won it with this one but we'll never know.

  • i love the rolls [ drum ] in this classic ,

he's just pounding on the kit !!! ,

one the the true greats !!!

  • Oh YES... July 1967 and I'm sitting in my gal's front room in Cheam and her ex is roaring by on his scooter shouting Here Go Boys Way Hay!!!

  • One of my favorite songs

  • What a fun video! Thanks for posting!

  • this song never fails to cheer me up. I saw the band at Carnegie Hall in Dunfermline in 2006 and met my teenage crush Chip Hawkes who is much smaller than I imagined -he gave me a kiss and an autograph which I still treasure -who says the old songs aren't the best-donna

  • Great, and thanks! This is the best mix of a couple that were released. Haven't heard this in forever!!!!

  • My buddy Eddie loves these guys. He's makin' the peace sign.

  • This is one of the best moments of the sixties,

if you think the sixties were defined by the sound of the beatles and the stones, then look around youtube.
