I'm buying a copy of this on iTunes, if possible. It sounds similar to this band called The Prayer Chain from around that era that put together a wonderful little gem of an album called "Mercury," sadly doomed to obscurity.
well at least they made a video. good song i like the power noice pop etherreal snooty, snarky, wall of sound side. not the" funky fun pop neo hippy vibe"
@flatline626 What a total sod ! a complete sod at its best you are ! such ignorance can only be admired ! what pitty on you ! ... go back and listen to your justin beiber collection and make comments and subjects you might have an inkling of .
please . next time you feel free to throw names around specially when name dropping THE STONE ROSES dont ever compare them again to any other band since it is obvious you do not posses any true musical knowllege and could not compare 'revolver' to 'ride
'Cold Water Flat' was/is one my favorite albums from beginning to end. I'm sorry to say I bought on tape and not CD. Sigh. I did buy 'baby's angry' and the 'cradle snatch' ep on CD, so I don't feel so bad.
It was HARD finding this bands music back then! But always well worth the search. I have a mix tape with 2 of their most beautiful songs. Remember those mix tapes?!!!
I saw Revolver at a CMJ showcase show at CBGB of all places back in the early 90's. Their set was plagued with all sorts of technical problems, the keyboard wasn't patched into the sound system, feedback issues, etc. yet I enjoyed the show immensely.
This was in my collection along with Lush, Curve, Ride, Catherine Wheel, Swervedriver etc.etc. aahhhh the days!

I still listen to their albums these days with the same pleasure.

Good song very trippy and laidback & sun lite style,It's sad Revolver were very underrated next to Ride and The Verve.
Ablal 4 years ago
youre right but ride and verve are still alot better without any doubt
samtheaccord1 4 years ago
I agree Ride were good but Verve were shite! And still is! Overrated!
pinheadsen 4 years ago
Their also recorded the album "Baby's Angry" which included the excellent "Heaven Sent An Angel".

one of the best 90s indie longplayers ever - besides verve's "Storm in Heaven"
