I am aware that there have probably been several famous women in history who have been lesbian or bisexual but most would never have been so open about their sexuality like the two cousins in the movie.

First off, we have Peaches, one of the Confederate ghost villagers. I think mostly every other villager wore clothes or had mannerisms that reflected 150 years ago. Nonetheless, Peaches has short hair and wears a bikini type outfit with short shorts. I know that every several years the modern folk come by the town and I assume Peaches decided to adopt a more modern type dress from them. Also, the lesbian twins are another thing i had trouble understanding.

I just rented this movie 2001 maniacs the other day and there were one or two things I don't understand. I do get that the people in the town are the ghosts of Confederate Villagers that were slaughtered by Northern Troops.

However,there seem to be a few inaccuaracies.
