@k3v1nbf the watts wouldn't matter, it's the ohms most cabs run at 8 ohms which is wat i'm sure the cube supports, the only time the watts matter is if u have an amp with more wats than the speaker cab, but theres no 4x12 with less than 120 watts handling
i have this amp, when i stop playing, i get a horrible fuzzing noise that fades out over a few seconds, i can hear it when im palm muting too. it gets realy annoying cos it makes me sound shit =/ what could be causing it cos i cant hear that fuzzing on any other videos.
@metallickh it might be because ur pickups from ur guitar pick up electric vibes from the room, it could be from cell phones, tvs, pc, or any other electrical appliance. most likely its from ur computer screen. to make it dissappear just shut off the screen
@metallickh poor shielding on the tone and volume pots as well or just some poor wiring connections. I'd possibly consider rewiring your guitar if you have any type of ability with a soldering iron and properly shield the cavity. Something no one ever really seems to do.
they sound fine, but i have a different problem more guitar-related, and that is i have such powerful pickups (active EMG 81 humbuckers) that the cleaner amp channels are still too much distorted, my guitar is really made for metal only... but the amp is fine, i have a few videos trying it out on my channel, you are most welcomed to have a look.
Is the Roland 80x powerful enough for stage. I'll be playing a gig, just myself on guitars & vocals and drummer (full drumkit).

how high was the master volume on the roland?
Vivical 1 year ago
@Vivical I own one of these and I'd say it was probably around 2/10 volume.

I'm looking to try that out with my cube 60 and I'm wondering if there are any possible dangers to either the combo amp or the cab while doing so.
gilamonster 2 years ago
i modded my cube 30 to be compatible with cabs and it sounds beastie
