  • VF3 Naomi = 1996

    VF4 Evo PS2 = 2003

  • Hi @GonoManiax. I'm afraid that information is incorrect. The correct data is the following:

    VF3, Model 3 Board = 1996

    VF4, Naomi 2 Board = 2001

    VF4 Evolution, Naomi 2 Board = 2002

    VF4 Final Tuned, Naomi 2 Board = 2004

  • vf3 has the best stages

  • The need to go back and do stages like this again, although Vf5 stages look beautiful this is better than fighting in a square.

  • @galletanopr

I think sega cited that they prefer square stages for competitive reasons. Makes tournament fighting more fair.

  • Model 3 Rules !!!!!!!

  • pretty onesided there

  • i wish if i can play this one it's sound so cool and more fun i only played VF4 for the ps2 graphicly it's looks more realastic than this one.

  • @fareedbakhit yeah but if u compair the backgrounds in vf3 to vf4, vf3 backgrounds are better detailed than vf4. i thouhgt that vf4 bachgrounds where a bit flat looking. u can pick up a dreamcast for pennies now and i recently just bought vf3 for 75p and it cost me £2 to get it delivered.

  • @david2k yeah i heard that too on some websites the DC have the the power on drawing more pixels than the ps2 which can made more detailing background while the ps2 have the power to throw much more polygons to make thing more realastic plus breakble floors air moving charecters clothes and hair and such.

  • @david2k

    watch?v=0kSBXlefPVg

This is VF4. Nothing flat about it. tons of trees, birds, an lighting effects. The sand polygons conform with the fighters movements. Also 60fps. VF3 on DC ran at only 30fps and had no lighting effects. VF4 had the best lighting effects last generation. Look at vanessa's skin and muscle tone.

The ps2 version of vf4 ran at 5 million polygons, half of the arcade version. Considering the arcade machine costs 3000 dollars, I say thats impressive.

  • this stage should return in VF5: FS

  • if ive saw a game like this on 1996...i would honestly shit myself !beats tekken 3, and that commin from a tekken fan!

  • I wish the graphics were this good in the Dreamcast version.

  • the oldest one i've played is vf4 evolution and from what i can see they've made a lot of changes.

  • lol VF3 ROCKS! it looks much better then VF4 + 4 evolutin for the PS2 put together

  • To be honest, I own this on the Dreamcast, and I was not impressed with the graphics at all. I thought Soul Calibur and Dead of Alive 2 looked better than this..

  • Both of those games did look better than vf3. Keep in mind that this game originally came out in 1996. That's the same year that the ORIGINAL dead or alive came out. Compare it's graphics to this.

  • Oh yeah, my bad. I forgot this game came out 96. For some reason I thought it was 97 or 98 when it came out.

  • @DumbandDumber94 yeah but if u think about it, vf3 was made in 1996 and sole calibur was made in 1998.

  • @DumbandDumber94 what u got to remeber if u dont already know is that genki who converted the game didnt know the real specifications of the dreamcast at the time and went by an estimate. thats why is was not arcade perfect.

  • I love Jeffrey`s stage.

Better than a Beach, only a tropical island.

  • @MisterWhat that makes me want to go to a beach like this and kick a guy's ass while Jeffery's VF4 theme plays on the radio cassette

  • This is my favorite VF game.

  • Rah. You can shift like that on VF3?! Kenshirou is good...

  • Yep. There's a separate shift button for VF3.. Only edition in the series with 4 buttons.
