By the way the REAL term for Rock and Roll was in a Gospel song call The Camp meeting Jubilee 1904-1916. This might be older than that ,YES and the Roots of Rap all sang in a CHURCH.

boy this music is a joke and has nothing to do with the praise of the Almighty . I really dont think that these people can say they made this music for Jesus more or less they did it to make profits and slap a title like christian on it it to draw people in. Wow and to read all the comments like these guy were the real deal. It took 8 million dollars to create christian rock because the parents were tossing out their kids rock and roll music so throw the word christian on to make it ok

I wanted to point out that CCM artist Rick Cua stemmed from The Outlaws after he became a Christian in the late 70's.

he has made it clean byy his blood i find it hard for me to worship to it. but in my opinion its more for a message. one of my best friends was brought to jesus this way if im not mistaken. if anybody has good testomonies i sure would love to hear it. there are not trying to save whats already saved. the are trying to reach somebody that wont listen to jesus loves me. like when johnny cash got saved and done some hymns. i know many people that was big fans of johnny before he knew jesus.

We see all the time people using scripture out of context and improperly, and that's another great example, You also skipped the FIRST part of this writing, which is the equally preposterous claim that women cannot be saved unless they "cover their head."

Being a Christian is all about what's in your heart, and how you treat people, not how you look. People who think it's about hair missed the point altogether.

I have come to the conclusion recently that those that have come against Christian rock to say that it is of the devil etc... Simply don't like it because it brings people into the Kingdom that they might not personally approve of.

Yep, you are correct about that. I was debating with a guy on the Christian Rock - USA video and he was saying it is sick music that draws people into a fall delusion of faith. He concluded that he would rather listen to music that glorifies abortion and violence rather than the rubbish that is Christian rock. He is deceived to say the least.

You might also be interested to know that the guy who did it is a grade A Gossip who came to my email box during discussions in rec.music.christian where you can do google groups searches to get a lot of background that might help also. I witnessed Larry receiving a long list from the movie's producer of things he had against him. Larry dealt with each on and utterly humiliated the guy. Then he waits til Larry's gone and comes out w/ this M. Moore type thing. Amazing...
