What is the name of the hose underneath the distributor, feeding into the engine and looks to go away towards the firewall. This hose burst on my 94 accord while on the highway spewing coolant vapor. Is it a heater hose or bypass hose? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
This is the exact video I was looking for! I cant believe my luck. I actually want to replace my heater core hose. The end under the distributor was giving me pains to pull. Thank you 1aauto!
@grendelhp We have these available on our website, and this video will show you exactly how to fix it yourself. Here's a link to the distributor for your 99 Honda Accord on our site 1aauto.com Hope this helps
@cappsoutlaw Currently we do not have a video of this repair. Starters are usually pretty easy to replace. Most of the time there are only two bolts that hold them into place. Here's a link to them oun our website 1aauto.com we carry new ones. Hope this helps.
Thanks. Was looking for something like this. Regarding the honda, I did notice that the hood was bent. I have the same, and no idea how that happened. Any recommendations on how to fix that bent?
@mujhonda In the video I believe that the hood just wasn't latched down, and slightly proped up. If you have a bend in the hood, there's not really a whole lot you can do to straighten it out. You may need to buy a new one.
The mechanic wanted $600 to do this job. Thanks to you guys it only cost me $117. If I didn't need the car fixed asap, I would have purchased from you. Next chance I get I'll be patronizing your business! Thanks!!!

@FOXTEKA It sounds like it could be the heater hose.

@1aauto Also check the rotor inside of the distributor to see if it's worn out. Hope this helps
