I seriously don't know which DQ game I want more...DQIV or DQIX? They both look freaking amazing, but this game is way different from FFIII and FFIV (which I loved both games...specially IV because it put III to shame with almost everything). Never mind! I'll play DQIV none stop until DQIX finally comes out ( :

i would say that ix is going to be better graffics and other little things but the classic storys like iv are never going to be beat. P.s i am talking about dragon quest not any other series cuz final fantasy is the best rpg series out there.

It's funny because Final Fantasy was originally a DQ rip off.

I like both series =w=

DQ cause it's classic RPG gameplay and FF because of the new quirks that come with each one.

...Oh my goodness. o_o I have not played this game since I was six years old. I just may have to purchase a Nintendo DS if this really does make it here (and oh god, I hope it does. I'll be so disappointed if it doesn't). DW/DQIV is my favorite RPG of all time, and my very first. A remake of it coming here would be like a dream. :D ...I also heard you get full control over your party now in Chapter 5. Is it true? (The computer did some really stupid things in the NES version. XD;)

yes, its true...DQ 4 IS coming, and with the US website open, DQ 5 and 6 will also be comming (though there is no date yet for 5 and 6). DQ4 already has a release date- 9/17/08. soo close! and i know how you feel, dude, DQ is also my favorite RPG of all time...i grew up with it as well...I beat 1,2,3,7, and 8. so knowing that DQ4,5,and 6 comming to the ds is like a dream! I always wanted to beat them all!!! i could cry right now... XD

IIRC, this was the largest RPG to ever come out on the NES. I can't even begin to tell you how many years it's been since I've played this, but it was one of my favorite games EVER.

Between this and FFIV:DS, I think I'm finally going to have to break down and buy an NDS. :)
